My husband and I traveled from the east coast to spend a week in Napa. The Archer made it easy to reserve our rooms and was central to the adorable downtown Napa environment. Their Concierge, Lisa, worked with us ahead of our stay to help us plan out transportation, winery visits, and dining options. The hotel was bright, clean, and inviting. Access to wonderful dining and tasting room options by foot were aplenty. We were beyond thrilled with our stay and cannot wait to plan our next trip!

We will return here next time we visit Napa! We loved our room with a view of the hills and they give you little treats on your bed every night which was a lovely touch. The rooftop bar and the gym are both great amenities (we didn’t use anything else). The hotel is just beautiful! Overall, an amazing stay!

The bathroom shower has mold, and there is noise from the outside trash collector. The view almost excellent except the trash collector from outside. Location is perfect. Staff are friendly. Food are fresh and healthy. I would recommend visiting but make sure do not stay next to the trash collector room.

As a black woman who recently experienced firsthand discrimination at the Archer Hotel in Napa, CA, I feel compelled to share my disheartening encounter. Despite being gifted a two-night stay by my employer this past weekend with a recommendation directly from the owner, my excitement turned into utter disappointment upon check-in. When I arrived, I let the front desk attendant (I believe her name is Karen) know that I was checking in and shared my ID to look up my booking. The attendant then requested for my debit card for what should have been just incidentals but at this point I realized they were charging the full booking. I let her know that this should have been paid for and was booked online as a gift from my job and there should have been a card on-file, since it was booked online. She then suggested to me that her manager is the one who made the arrangement and that I could come back the next day to resolve the matter. She was very dismissive and again, this was booked online. Throughout this process she kept calling to the back office and whispering to whoever was on the other end of the call. At this point I called the cardholder who arranged my trip to confirm if she put her card on file, since they suggested that there was no card on file. This was the start of my 45-minute demeaning wait. I asked if she could give the card over the phone or send over a credit card authorization. The front desk attendant shared that we could complete a credit card authorization form to the cardholder. I provided the company email address that contained the cardholders first initial and last name. The company cardholder then completed the information and sent it back. The staff displayed a lack of urgency in confirming whether the authorization had been received or processed. I waited about 10 minutes before the attendant went back to her computer and let me know that she received the authorization back and that she was going to the back to “process the transaction.” Finally, after waiting more countless minutes in the lobby I was finally approached by the attendant who let me know that there was something wrong because there was no ID provided. I then called the cardholder who let me know she misplaced her ID and was looking for her passport to provide. But instead of receiving the courteous service expected at a luxury hotel, I was then confronted with baseless accusations. The assistant manager Bridgette came out and informed me that there were concerns about the legitimacy of the credit card being used for the reservation, insinuating that it could potentially be stolen and that there was no way to help me. I let her know that this was not stolen, it was booked with a company card and that I felt insulted that she would insinuate that I would be checking in under false pretenses. Her tone was unprofessional and accusatory, not the hospitality one would expect from an Assistant Manager at such a nice hotel. The implication was clear: I, a black woman, was automatically suspected of fraudulent activity. It was a blatant display of racial profiling and discrimination, tarnishing what should have been a memorable experience. In a city known for its hospitality and inclusivity, the Archer Hotel's conduct is utterly unacceptable. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, let alone one that prides itself on providing exemplary service. My experience at the Archer Hotel Napa was not only disappointing but also deeply troubling. I urge the management to address this issue promptly and implement measures to ensure that such discriminatory behavior is never repeated. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone, especially individuals from marginalized communities who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Napa. Parking is valet only at $35 per night I believe. They instruct you to text to request your vehicle, but the texts don't always go through. Also speak to the valet to ensure they retrieve your vehicle. Rooftop bar/restaurant is beautiful and they make incredible drinks. There are plenty of heaters up there when weather is cold. Rooms were comfortable and clean. House keeping left treats and water every day which was a nice touch.

We had a three night stay here with friends and found the hotel to be a nice alternative to the Yountville options. We enjoyed being in downtown Napa and took advantage of the hotel's location to immerse ourselves in the downtown and riverside areas for a day. There are many restaurants near the hotel so getting around was easy. The hotel is modern and rustic, with an open lobby area that allows for some lobby seating and communing as well as their open lobby restaurant. This is a problem in the winter when it is cold as the cold air wafts in from the constantly opening front doors making dining coats required. The lobby area is also very loud when crowded. They have a small bar area and a nice Steak House on premises. The rooms are typical in size with decent A/C. Small couch area and desk fill out the room which appeared clean and not too worn. They do allow dogs which is unfortunate as we had a barker next door. I do not know why people need to take dogs on trips but hotels need to just say no. The bathrooms are small single sink units with a decent shower and average towels. The be was a high point as it was a plush and very comfortable. The room noise level overall was low which was a pleasant surprise considering the volume of loud guests in the lobby areas. The hotel does have a nice roof top restaurant and bar area which is huge, and an odd dipping pool that would not be worthy in the summer. Valet parking works well but give them 20 minutes, and the staff are pleasant. Breakfast was good. We will go back to Yountville again next time.

Hi Scotty. Thank you for staying with us and I appreciate the time you took to share your experience with others. We are happy that we have the ability to allow pets to travel with their owners when visiting Napa, but we do have a strict policy about them being left alone which could cause barking issues. I'm sorry that you had to deal with that, but do hope the rest of your visit was pleasant. Looking forward to having you back again!! Michael General Manager

The Archer Hotel is a gem! Fabulous staff; wonderful dining; great roof top; perfect location. The Archer is the ideal hotel to stay at for enjoying wineries in Napa, Yountville, and St. Helena. A+ service with a smile -- it was a joy to be there.

We had a fabulous meal at the Archer Hotel in Napa, it was late and Makati greeted us right away with a big smile, then Bridgette at the front desk warmly introduced us to Irving who asked if we wanted to sit by the fire for a drink, which was perfect. He mentioned that dinner at Charlie Palmer steakhouse was available also in the lounge area. Our server was Lauren and she was delightful. She made sure we understood what we ordered and brought us what was probably two of the best drinks we've had. All in all a lovely impromptu evening made better by excellent customer service. Will return soon for sure.

Room is fair. Shower water pressure a bit weak. Nothing much to eat during breakfast at the resto, so we just do ubereats. Hotel is beautiful with friendly staffs. Nice location. Unfortunately, i got very disappointed with being turned down when I requested for just a 12:30 pm check out. First time it happened to me in my decades of travel worldwide.

Hello Joseph. I was happy to hear that overall you had a nice visit, but it ended on a sour note with the unavailability of the late check out. I can only imagine our occupancy levels were very high as typically we do our best to accommodate. We do hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Be well, Michael General Manager
