We spent a great 4th of July weekend here. It is walking distance to downtown so we were able to enjoy the Independence Day Festival at our leisure. This KOA has RV sites with hookups, tent sites in a grove of trees so very nicely shaded, and cabins of varying sizes. They have a small camp store, showers, laundry, and... More

We stayed in one of what another member of my party called the D-Helluxe cabins for 4. First of all, a place that has temps in the mid to upper 90s during the day needs to have something(like air) to cool off the cabin. There was a ceiling fan but no matter which way we ran it there was no... More

I happened to find an open deluxe cabin (w a bathroom) for one night for July 4th weekend at the last minute. My best friend and I drove through Lassen Nat Park, and this was an easy place to stop off after our day in the park en route to southern Oregon. The campground was well laid out. It was... More

I have been on a 6 day road trip in Northern California and southern Oregon. Someone told me to avoid KOAs but have scored a good one tonight in Shasta. The camping area is well cared for; the bathrooms are clean; and the woman on the front desk was cheerful without being too chatty. If other KOAs are as good... More

Great location but lacking in what expected from KOA. Agree that amenities are lacking for the price. Paid for full hookups but no wifi, no cable, site too small for 38' rig. Had two boxers but no dog park. Had to make one by tying them out between trees. Front desk person was only one harried man who was always... More

Friendly staff. Super clean restrooms. Activities and a pool. But, could hear the trains go by, though it seemed to stop during the night. The little shop has anything you might need. The location is perfect.

The staff here is dedicated to ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. The lady in the office was very nice and since the main building had no hot water she upgraded us to a cabin with a shower. It was our first vacation without the kids in 25 years and the staff made us very comfortable.

I went camping on a solo mission and was more than impressed with my KOA experience in Mount Shasta! Not only were the campsites nice and covered by trees and views of the sun setting the facilities were all excellent. From warm showers, heated bathroom, heated cabins, freshest water, game rooms and supply store. My favourite part of the trip... More

We stayed in a cabin. The manager was very nice, didn't mind our late check-in and was helpful in finding nearby campgrounds for our stay the next evening. He even gave us a free upgrade to a larger cabin. The only down side to this place is the trains passing several times in the night. A cabin on the far... More

As we stayed in our cab over camper it was a lovely spot. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was just right for our honeymoon adventure. We stayed 3 nights total and plan to come back! Close to town and snowy runs this was the perfect spot!
