Our welcome was warm and friendly and the staff is very helpful. Our room had nice big windows with an interesting view of an inlet from the ocean with occasional seabirds and a state beach that blocks the view of the ocean itself. The room was designed for the view and not for convenience, but certainly no worse than other...

Thank you for the review, we are sorry that we do not have ocean views, but our rooms in the boathouse are to enjoy the Sanctuary, a nature preserve that is teeming with sea mammals and birds. Our innkeeper makes some scrumptious breakfasts, and she doesn't like anyone to leave the dining room still hungry. She always offers seconds, and...

We were booked for the Sail Away suite at this B&B for one night. As we were driving from a long distance we would be a late arrival. I received a phone call from a staff member asking what time I would arrive. When I stated my current location on the highway she said I was about 30 to 45...

Captain's Inn is the one place I escape to for peace and inner calmness. The staff at this lovely bed and breakfast, tucked a few hours away from the City, wholeheartedly greets me as one of their family. Just a few days stay and I am tranquil in mind, heart, and body. Daily bath salts, solo walks, and healthy morning...

All I can say is WOW.....What a beautiful place to get away from all the noise of the city. We stayed in the Sail Away room on the 2nd floor and it was WONDERFUL.....The tub was big and deep, the view was wonderful, and the fresh baked cookies in the room on arrival was deeeeelish. One of the few places that actually comes off better than the pictures, the only drawback for us was that the bed was quite high in our room and not so easy for our aging bones. The caretaker that makes the breakfast is a delight, I would recommend starting a conversation with her as she has some great experiences to...

If you have some moolah to splurge and are looking for a romantic getaway near the bay area, this is one of the many options available near the monterey peninsula. A quaint but well designed inn with beautifully appointed rooms and a yummy breakfast. Rooms could be a but pricey in summer, apparently rates drop by a $100 in winter...

Dear Guest, Thank you for writing this kind review about our Inn at Moss Landing. It makes us very happy to read about your pleasant stay and our delicious breakfast! We do offer some amazing views the slough rain or shine, in fact the rain also gives it it's own beautiful charm, and it makes our hills green. We hope...

This B&B is decorated so cute and very welcoming! We got a little tour when we checked in. Very friendly staff. The location is not perfect, we mostly drove to Monterey and Carmel to do dinners which is about 30 minutes away! If you want a weekend to relax and chill at the room and enjoy the scenery, this is...

Great B&B -- delicious breakfast, and the innkeeper and staff really make you feel at home: carafes of water for your room, a fridge with sodas and juice, a microwave for guest use, spa-quality bath products, and lots of beautiful scenery. They have several decks where you can sit out and enjoy nature, and the inn is a very short...

Weekend of kayaking and whale watching here. The inn was perfect. Friendly, helpful staff. Walk to restaurants. Room overlooking the bay. The garden was splashed with nautical items that made it quite interesting. Breakfasts were creative, but a little small for those going out for an active day.

Thank you for the nice review. We pride ourselves on having a friendly, helpful staff, and our location to all attractions in the area. We stayed in the secondary building right on the slough. We were on the first floor in the most private room called Cast Away. The decor is very nautical, funky but fun. Our bed was on top of an old boat so we had to climb on a crate sized box to get in. It was actually nice as our...
