Staff is super friendly. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Morro Bay and stopped trying others once I stayed here. Great location, wonderful staff, best prices, just unbeatable! They have a great suite room that’s huge with a fireplace, to other rooms with fantastic (partial) views of Morro Rock
I paid $300 (the most expensive I found when I checked later) for a Saturday night and the room was fine but I did not appreciate being rushed out at 11am Sun when I was just getting back from my race. I understand the staff has to clean up lots of rooms quickly but they could have skipped over us for a bit. Morro has lots of motel choices so I will be shopping around next time.
Would definitely stay again. Very clean and right in the middle of town beautiful view of the ocean and the rock. Great front desk service. Accommodations for pets. Parking is great. Best little hotel in the bay!
Stayed here Sunday night. Did not like the ground floor rooms. Took first floor room and had little balcony look down at Morro Rock. Nice clean and large room. Iron fridge microwave etc., all in room. Plenty of free parking and close to all the sights.
This was a good hotel in the heart of Morrow Bay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Pretty well maintained. I’m very picky about my hotel stays. Staff was very friendly. The only two issues I had is that the carpet could use a good cleaning and the water pressure in the shower was very low. Almost couldn’t wash out the shampoo. I would stay here again.
Yeah, in case they forget to tell you at check-in, some rooms have a Water Softener installed in the plumbing. Which makes the water better for your skin and hair, but always makes it feel like you haven't washed off all the soap. Don't worry: you have! No need to spend 5 extra minutes running to water to try to get it off! Other impressions: •happy with the fast water heating •the room was a bit depressing on the inside •glad we had a semi-private balcony, and a partial view of the Rock •dunno who decided a metal drum-riser was a good idea for a box spring, but it makes a helluva racket when you touch it with your foot while getting into bed •pretty conveniently located to the waterfront -- it's a 4 minute walk away
Clean, comfortable room in the middle of this coastal town. If you are lucky, like we were, you will have a balcony that faces the famous Morro Rock. No breakfast here, but it is difficult to find that when you are visiting the coast. The price was close to $200, but that is expected based on location. A good value choice if you are staying in Morro Bay.
Thank you for making our stay so welcoming. The first thing they did was to give our Goldendoodle a new “poop” bag carrier, had a beautiful lawn area for her to use and a wash area so we could wash her feet after exploring beautiful Morro Bay! Short walk (or drive) to the Embarcadero. Staff is extremely friendly not only to pets but humans as well! Very clean property (and that’s coming from a professional property manager). Bed was very comfortable, nice touch having a Keurig in the room. Yes we would stay at the Harbor House again!
Clean, comfortable room, much more spacious than many comparably priced hotels in the area. Nice to have table and chairs in addition to big nice bed and fridge/coffee maker shelving unit. Nice closet area to hang things. We booked the King with balcony and it had a great view of Morro Rock from the room and balcony. Better view than expected and better than shown in the photos. Plus, we appreciate any dog friendly hotel. Thanks for a great stay! We’d definitely return.
Room and bathroom was large and clean, although quite sparse looking - but it had all the essentials (table and chairs for eating, mini fridge, coffee maker). Parking was easy. We only stayed for one night with our pet. The location we were in was near the office and housekeeping, so it was a little noisy. That made it a touch tricky with our pet as she gets huffy when people are outside the door. (She does better at hotels where the pet rooms are in low traffic areas) I appreciated that the office was open late as in my research some motel offices don't stay open late. We also had an issue with the TV that the office person was able to fix pretty quickly.
