I didn't specifically look for this, but I did note this Inn had dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel rather than single serve bottles. It also had sensors on bathroom light and temp control on sink water. It was comfortable, cute, and situated within a block of the water. Loved it and would return!

This is a perfect place to stay in Morro Bay. It's low key. It's Motel style so if you go in with that expectation then you will enjoy your stay. The staff were very helpful. I actually extended my stay not once but twice and they were very accommodating. There is laundry on-premises with a washer and dryer. It cost about $5 for a load of laundry. The laundry was only two doors away from my room so super convenient. It is close walking distance to everywhere and easy to drive to and from when going to the store or other areas on the coast. I did a lot of walking around during the day but at night I relaxed at two nearby bars so it was a very quick and easy walk back at the end of the night. It is a very safe area. The bathroom only has a standup shower in the king sized basic room I got and that was perfectly fine. The sink had enough room for me to setup makeup and hair products. TV with direct tv, microwave and small fridge with freezer. Black out curtains. Plenty of plugs. Plenty of room for suitcases and closet room for hanging things with iron board and iron. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was only one complaint I had and that was the floor could have been a bit cleaner. The walls at times seemed a little thin for noise from other rooms but I hardly noticed that. All in all I am definitely satisfied with my stay and would stay again in the future.

Thank you for making our stay so welcoming. The first thing they did was to give our Goldendoodle a new “poop” bag carrier, had a beautiful lawn area for her to use and a wash area so we could wash her feet after exploring beautiful Morro Bay! Short walk (or drive) to the Embarcadero. Staff is extremely friendly not only to pets but humans as well! Very clean property (and that’s coming from a professional property manager). Bed was very comfortable, nice touch having a Keurig in the room. Yes we would stay at the Harbor House again!

Rooms are pretty big and appears to have been refreshed somewhat, with hardwood floors and a large TV. AC unit and other furniture seems to be well used. Asked for a room away from the main street but was denied, though there was less than 50% occupancy on a week night. Seems like the owner just didn't want to bother. Ended up with a heavy footed neighbor above, which is my worst nightmare. It reverberated even more with the flooring, it seems. Almost like a heavy bass every time they walk on top.

Beds a little too soft. Pillows are small and not comfortable. Shower pressure low.

If you get a good deal it could be a good value for a short stay.

Front desk customer service is very poor, they almost don't want to address any question or issue. After the trip, my credit card bill shows an unauthorized charge (in addition to the room cost). I called twice and they would not answer to the charge, they keep telling me to call back at another time. I had to dispute it with the credit card issuer.

The room is clean and roomy with a reasonable price. I have a King room with a view of the Morro rock and a private balcony which we enjoy a lot. I suggest that the screen for the door to the balcony should not be removed so that we can leave the door open for fresh air without the bugs coming in. The refrigerator is large which we normally do not have with other hotels.

I’ve never stayed in accommodations in which I had to ask for Kleenex. Or a washcloth. The best part of the stay was the bed, which was really comfy. Literally everything else was terrible. They didn’t clean our room, they required a credit card for “incidentals,” (there are absolutely no incidentals available). This place advertises an ocean view, but fails to mention that the view also includes the roof and parking lots of three other hotels in front of it. It was very inexpensive, but still. I do not recommend.

Room and bathroom was large and clean, although quite sparse looking - but it had all the essentials (table and chairs for eating, mini fridge, coffee maker). Parking was easy. We only stayed for one night with our pet. The location we were in was near the office and housekeeping, so it was a little noisy. That made it a touch tricky with our pet as she gets huffy when people are outside the door. (She does better at hotels where the pet rooms are in low traffic areas) I appreciated that the office was open late as in my research some motel offices don't stay open late. We also had an issue with the TV that the office person was able to fix pretty quickly.

Convenient location, clean rooms and reasonable rates- the harbor house inn has it all. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the morrow bay waterfront with its kayaking, shops, restaurants and of course Morrow Rock. If the rooms remain as clean as they have been since my first stay in 2017, harbor house inn shall remain my home away from home whenever I visit the San Luis Obispo area

Great beds, very comfortable and had an adjoining patio for dogs to do their business. Our tv didn’t work for the entire trip. No breakfasts. Dog charge is 50$ nightly per dog. The parking is pretty tight, but very close to the beach.
