A nightmare in every sense! I had booked two rooms a week in advance via booking.com. When we got there, I realized that they overcharged us by $4 per room. I asked the front desk staff what the extra charge was for. She said that she didn't know, so I showed her the breakdown I had from my booking email. Considering that our kids were waiting in the car, I told the lady that I would go ahead and sign the amount they were requesting, and then I would call the booking site with my complaint. She said that I was being uncooperative and that she wouldn't want to deal with the review since this was business. She said that she wouldn't be checking us in! When I called booking.com, they called the hotel and explained to me that the extra charge was for bottled water that we hadn't requested, made aware of, or needed! The hotel said that they couldn't check us in without agreeing to pay the extra $$ for water. Booking.com relocated us to another hotel. This was at 2 PM. At 7 PM, the same lady called me and said that they would honor the original charge and that my rooms were ready. I took a deep breath and told her that we had been relocated! To my horror, the hotel went ahead and charged my card. I started this back and forth chat with my credit card company, who referred me to booking.com. In the end, booking.com did the right thing by offering to refund the money I paid for a hotel that refused to check me in. I'm still dizzy from wondering how a hotel can be allowed to do this.

I will never recommend this place to anyone. The people running this place are the rudest people. No customer service skills or human decency. You're bothering them by staying there. So why stay in mediocre, dirty rooms, with dangerous drop offs and then be yelled at by management and belittled for being a woman? Their card readers do not work and after reading reviews I was not the only one to have this problem... not because I am a woman or because I am uneducated. Also plan for 25 extra dollars attached to whatever booking price is advertised because you will be charged a pet fee.

Do NOT stay here. Hotel owners are not nice people. STAY AWAY. Especially if you are a woman. Owners are horrible human beings who have NO business working in hospitality or customer service. I was verbally accosted by the owners of this establishment. My family and I arrived after a long car ride with kids and my parents. Upon check in not only did the woman charge me for a dog. They also denied my request for a handicap accessible room. Let me say, I feel as though the man and woman could not understand basic English, their accents were so thick, and they were speaking mostly in their native language to one another. They were unfriendly from the get-go. The room card readers do NOT work (this seems to be a common complaint that I have seen in their reviews) Our room key was de-magnetized, the door just flashed red. It was late, about 9. My kids were already asleep, as were my parents. My husband and I were in a separate conjoined room next door. As we left my parents room for the night to go to bed, our card would not work in our room. We walked down together; my husband stopped at the car to grab some things. If only I had known such a simple request was going to escalate the way that it did. When I rang the service bell the (same) woman came through huffing, I tried to explain to her that our key was not working for our room. She then accused me of switching the card between my parent’s room key and that I needed to switch them back. I can most certainly guarantee you that this was NOT the case. I insisted it was not working. She then argued to just go through the middle section of the conjoined room (which was locked) After some back and forth of her arguing, I could not tell if she just did not speak English well but she could not comprehend or did not care what I was asking. After giving me a new room key, I walked up to the room to try it, it still did not work. After returning and ringing the bell once more the woman came in and slammed the door behind her “What do you want now?” I explained that the card was still not working. She threw her hands up in the air “Oh my god, I already did this for YOU!” and I proceeded to say yes, but it’s still not working. She then began screaming at me. “You are so stupid, you mixed up the keys, stupid!!!” I was almost in tears at this point, I was exhausted, I had dealt with kids being car sick, parents etc. I just wanted to go to bed. I could not believe what was happening. I was literally stunned. Her husband then came in and he proceeded to yell at me too. Saying “The room keys only work for their room number!!” “You can’t just use the key for any room you want”… They apparently do not know what de-magnetization is or they’re just too cheap to replace their shotty system. The man then told me to come around to the back???? I was NOT about to do that. I motioned to my husband who was in the car organizing and cleaning, he oblivious to what was happening. Confused, he ran to catch up with us as we got to our room the man proceeded to condescendingly tell me how the key works for that room number… It is room “XXX!! See the card, it is card XXX, You slip this end in and out.” He repeated this over and then said “IF YOU GET LOCKED OUT AGAIN, WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU BACK IN SLEEP OUTSIDE” At that point my husband ripped the keys from his hand and said to get out of our room. He was fuming. He wanted to leave, so did I but the thought of waking everyone up at close to now 10:00 loading everyone up and having no where to go being hours from home was not ideal. I didn’t want my husband to go down and further escalate the situation because we would not get the results we wanted. You cannot fix people like this. So, I just warn those in the future. Is this the kind of business you want to support? Cheap or not, it’s not worth it and we will never be back here. I will tell everyone I know… Listen to the reviews, there is a reason why they charge less than most. Ironically when we were leaving the key locked us out again and the remainder of our luggage was in the room, my husband went in this time and very directly told him to let us back in the room, the same man made the key no questions asked and his attitude and tune was very different with my husband than it was with me. As for the rooms, the only nice thing was the size. The so-called balconies that they advertised are extremely dangerous and misleading. Rooms are dark so you cannot see how dirty they are. We also had the same stained sheet that I saw in another person’s complaint. Pretty gross. Old socks in our room and the shower does not work well. Again, not worth it.

The room was clean. The mattress made a noise and was the most lumpy mattress I've ever slept on and they refused to change my room. After enduring a night I wish I would have had my credit company refused the charge and found a different hotel,
