While visiting San Simeon my husband and I stayed at the inn for one night. It was a cute, cozy inn and met our needs. They had a small continental breakfast set-up at the front office every morning- which I thought was cute. It was located close to the bay which was great.

It was way better than expected! The photos on booking dot com are old. Everything worked out really well! Even the little breakfast was more than we had expected. The room was super nice and totally functional! Even if some of the things were not our taste (everything was in sea-shell-style...) we liked it. We will totally come back next...

The motel is old and need some maintenance like changing the broken lamp in the room. Mold in the bathroom. Almost now water pressure. I see pretty good reviews here so maybe it was just our bad luck with the room number 14.

We stayed here one night in our Highway 1 trip from LA to San Francisco and had a nice and pleasant stay. It's just 10 minutes walk from city center. Very quite and clean, though the beds were a bit noisy. Also the included breakfast was ok but basic.

Super small nice town, Sandpiper Inn was good place to stay on the way to Los Angeles. A walking distance to Yacht club or beach. Quiet and safe. Service was good from all staff. Rooms are good, clean.

Owner/front desk person very friendly and polite. An older hotel but very well kept up. Room was very clean, include flat screen TV, microwave, and small refrigerator. No iron in room but got one from the front desk with no problems. Included in our stay was a small breakfast which included, two types of muffins, two types of cereal, orange...

Very basic facilities at a good price for this area. Great check in - arrived early and no problem with getting the room. Stayed in room 6 - linens all clean, floors could be better in corners - one heavily worn mattress, but still manged to sleep ok. No disturbances from other guests despite motel being busy. Basic breakfast served...

Simple but clean motel, friendly staff and a little breakfast which goes with it. It's near the waterfront and a short walking distance to Distasio's on the Bay restaurant. Try to get a ground floor room if you have lots of baggage..... We would return again.

Scrolling some reviews, I can't say much more than what most people said - for sure the best thing I found here was the friendly and willing-to-helkp staff. We were in a ground floor room and, well, it was not that comfortable or clean (clean enough, I must say)... it was, in two words, a "real motel". Nevertheless we paid...

After reserving five nights, they tried to charge my card before I had even arrived. I only knew this because my bank contacted me early in the day to ask about the charge. Upon arrival, the manager/owner seemed nice enough, until we informed him the night before that we would be leaving a day early. We were told we could...
