We spent 3 nights here and loved the entire stay. Staff is responsive, courteous and helpful. This property is close to everything you'd want to do in Morro Bay. Downtown is just around the corner, the Embarcadero is just down the street. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and probably mose impressive, they excel at blocking sounds. A couple of times we could hear excited folks fellow-shipping in the parking lot, but only because our window was open. We closed it and no more was heard. Our balcony had a great view of the ocean. We kayaked, rode our bikes to Los Osos, and enjoyed a stroll among the shops and restaurants. One aspect that I thought could be a bigger deal turned out not to be one. The room is only made up when you check out which worked great for us. We did need some additional towels at one point and they showed up to the door within minutes. Really cannot say enough about this motel, awesome value. We will be back…
The parking spaces are tiny. The room was clean but the chairs were stained. The carpet needs to be replaced. Even though it is a "No Smoking" hotel, the person in the room next to mine was smoking weed. The smell wafted into my room, which was irritating. Because of Covid restrictions, several hotels I've stayed at have found themselves in a financial bind. Hopefully Fireside Inn will find a way to begin renovations, which are sorely needed.
We stayed three nights. Room was clean and neat. Bathroom was neat and freshly renewed. Only minor issue of loud elephant people above us on first night, but not hotels fault. Conveniently located to where we wanted to go and easy walking distance to many things. Parking was convenient, right in front of room. Area felt safe to be in.
Management was extremely nice and helpful. Room was clean and reasonably priced. It was close to beach and walking distance to restaurants/shops. We were able to somewhat see the rock from our room wouldn’t pay extra for the deluxe view. I would stay again at this hotel especially for the price and cleanliness.
We had the second floor facing the street with a balcony which I liked because it is more private & you can keep the patio door open. King bed was very comfortable. Good size room. The Inn is in a great location, approx. one block from the commercial waterfront area and near the middle of everything. We chose a less expensive place because we are generally gone all day. It was also very clean. The TV is a little small but still okay if just using for the news, etc. Would suggest bring your own pillow and towels (they need new towels)- other than that, pretty good for the price.
