When we pulled in, we exchanged a nervous glance, but this place really grew on us throughout our stay. It's small, but why would you come to Morro to stay in the room? Bed is comfortable, rooms are very clean and quirky, and how can you be upset with Magic Fingers? Shower and bathroom are small and lack exhaust venting, but it was a gre as t stay and we are looking to book again.
This was a nice place to stay. Convenient to all areas you would want to walk to in Morro Bay. The manager was nice and I like her decor. I'd recommend staying here. No breakfast or anything but there are so many great places to eat in Morro Bay, why waste calories on boring hotel food. I recommend eating at the coffee pot.
Small, quaint and quiet bungalow style inn near Embarcadero and downtown. Close to restaurants and ocean. Good beds,, Very clean, nice owners. Very good experience. Walking distance to everything you want. All amenities.
We liked this quaint place. It isn't 5-star accommodations. It isn't the Ritz. What it is is a nice place that is given a personal touch by their owners. We really liked Anne, the owner. Sweet lady who always wanted us to be comfortable. It is a small place with only about 17-18 rooms (can't remember). Nothing fancy. Just clean, cute and very accommodating. The location is outstanding. Just a short few blocks (about 5-10 minutes) down to the water and the cool and interesting places to visit in Morro Bay. It is a nice beach town known for friendly people, and this place was what we were looking for.
Stayed at sundown inn during some of the hottest days of the year. The pros of this hotel are: very clean, updated rooms (wood floor, tile in bathroom) freshly painted, very reasonably priced( a really good value) the cons are: rooms are very small (good for a couple or 2 people, 3 people would be very crowded. Bathroom area really small and the car parking very very tight. I mentioned visiting during some of the hottest days of the year which comes into play as there was no room air conditioner. 90 plus percent of the time this is a non issue and a/c is not needed. My wife found the bed to be very uncomfortable while I thought it was fine so I guess that why the sell sleep number beds. Different firm levels for different people. Overall thought this was a good value hotel. Clean, decent linens, quiet around the area. Would book again.…
