Hotel Avisa is located 1 block up from the waterfront and within walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. We offer rooms with King and Two Queen Beds many of which have ocean views over looking Morro Rock. All rooms have 50" TVs, Mini Fridges, Keurig machines, A/Cs, iron/ironing boards, and free WIFI. Most rooms have balconies. We are a 100% Smoke & Pet free property.

Was simply delighted by this small hotel in Morro Bay. It's centrally located, offers covered parking and hits on points that elude many more expensive establishments. Room was comfortable, with working refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I'm frequently disappointed even in far more expensive hotels when the showerhead is salted up so that it's virtually useless - this one was clean and worked like new. No scrimping on the towels either. Although I did not use the facility, it appeared as if they offer "do your own" guest laundry. Highly recommended!

The room was very large.The hotel has no breakfast in the morning.When I was there,there wasn't always a clerk on duty.The hotel doesn't offer wake-up calls.Maid service is not provided daily.The light sockets were loose.The carpet was worn.

The hotel itself was very basic and nothing to boast of. What made it a pleasant stay was having it in Morro Bay and just a block up from the main avenue with the shops and restaurants. The bed was cozy, liked the pillows, and the AC unit worked great! Always need a cooler room to sleep well.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were clean and updated. We were there for the Ironman Race. Hotel was centrally located, didn’t have to use the car. Will definitely stay again. The picture is of the sunset from our balcony May 20, 2023.

The customer service from the front desk very accommodating and friendly and giving you also tips what’s good restaurant around the area and super nice to me .. they even gave me discount because the one I did for 3 party booking was pricey thank you 😊 for the excellent customer service and the rooms are great also

Clean and no hassles. Room also fit two e-bikes as did the elevator. While I did attempt an early check in prior to our first ride, it was available for a $50 early check in fee. Didn’t need it that much. Place seemed rather empty but maybe that’s why the early check in fee.

The hotel is located just blocks away from the mail strip in Morro bay. We had always found parking which is located under the hotel. The interior was clean so was the hotel room. What I didn't like was the full sized beds advertised as Queen. We measured and they were full size beds. Other then that the individual working at the front desk were friendly. Also the entrance to the hotel is locked after a certain time, good security. The rooms were spacious, plants of room to movie around.

Very close to the Embarcadero to allow easy walking access to all shops and restaurants. Staff at the hotel were friendly. Free on-site parking. Close drive to San Luis Obispo. Loved our one night stay. Quaint and peaceful.

We stayed at this Hotel before. Again found the accommodations clean & comfortable. Recent updates (in progress during the earlier stay) were completed & modernized the space. Staff was helpful & friendly.

This hotel is fairly basic but provides the essentials. It provides safety (double locks on the doors, bright lights in the garage area), comfort (nice beds and bedding), and peace (no noise, a block away from the main visitor venues). The location is good. Just a block from the frontage street with its many restaurants, shops and other hotels. Walking distance to the rock and the beach. And if you can get a room with full views of Morro Rock, book it. The view really is iconic and memorable.
