This hotel is not the closeted to the water’s edge, but it is very close. It is right across the street from the water. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The screen slider in our room (#311) was stuck and did not work. The hotel is extremely well situated. All the waterfront stores and restaurants are within walking distance. There is plenty of onsite parking on the ground floor. Our room came with a balcony and fireplace. I assume that all rooms are similar. There is an elevator. The elevator requires a room key so you should not worry about safety. Checkin and check out were very easy. In the age of the great resignation, housekeeping is a problem everywhere. This hotel is no exception. WE had to ask for towels. There was no timely maid service but I would come again.…
Our room had a nice balcony and a great harbor view. The room was okay, Tv picture was poor, Internet was very slow, about 2 mps and the shower pressure was very poor. No breakfast at the location. Quite a bit of street noise. The staff was very nice. Overall would not recommend this location.
We had a great time at Morro Bay! The hotel location is amazing. Staff were very kind and helpful- made our stay so much easier. The rooms were clean, we enjoyed the spa, the beds were comfortable and we loved the balcony, even with a partial view. We were able to relax and also enjoy adventures- kayaking, whale watching (we saw so many!), biking the area, eating well. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great service and lovely location right across from water with views of Morro rock. Walking distance to all kinds of shops and restaurants. They also helped us find a local laundromat which we desperately needed halfway through our PCH trip.
Nice, clean motel; nothing fancy and no food options on site, but right on the bay. The staff was friendly and helpful. This place is a great base for exploration of this most excellent part of the central coast.
Me and my husband stayed there over a weekend. Staff was nice, room was clean. The view of the Harbor was perfect. The only problem is the hallway on the 3rd floor smelled of animal urine real bad. The town is worth the visit.
The staff were some of the kindest people we have encountered in California. The location of the property is just right, out of the touristy hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. Our room was spotless and well appointed. We had a second floor room which gave us a great view of the water. 10/10 recommend!
Very Clean!! Rooms with fireplace worth the difference in price. Super Location. A bit more Spartan during COVID and breakfast no longer served. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants on the Harbor. For short stays, this is the place in Morro Bay.
I drove up to the hotel and saw Happy Birthday to my name on their hotel sign. How could my stay have had a better start? It was centrally located in Morro Bay. We were able to walk to dinner. It was a small, clean, lovely hotel. I'd recommend it to you.
Great room with a fantastic view of the sunsets! Easy walking to many shops and restaurants. Easy parking. Elevator. Comfortable spacious room and bathroom. Decent price. Balcony for people viewing. Location is on Main Street, so parking area is appreciated.
