We drove into Morro Bay, and wondered why we had decided to stay in this town. After meeting the owner, and settling into our room we knew we had made the perfect choice. It was our favorite hotel during our trip down the CA coast. Be sure to reserve one of the rooms over the water during your stay. The...

Every positive thing you have read about the Anderson Inn is true. Mollie's welcome was so warm and sincere. This was our absolute favorite stay on our recent trip up the Coast. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Dinner at The Galley next door was also the best meal we had (excellent scallops and halibut, and a terrific kids...

I booked two nights at the hotel from the reviews I read on this site. I called and talked to Molly and she was so helpful. After letting her know it was our 18 year anniversary, she suggested reservations at their restaurant The Galley. She suggested 7:00 so we could watch the sunset from our room. After watching the most...

Stayed here for just one night this summer with spouse and two young teen boys during our trip up the coast to San Francisco. Great experience, great room, legendary hospitality and so much fun kayaking and watching the otters and sea lions. The shower was gorgeous, rooms beautifully appointed with lots of unexpected touches like binoculars to stare out to...

I wish the Andersons & Staff were my neighbors. Executives from Four Seasons, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Wynn, Palazzo and other top tier hotels should stay here to learn how to shed their cold corporate version of hospitality and replace it with the Andersons & Staff warm hospitality. Note: I'm a picky, hard to please traveler and I don't think I've ever...

Oh my god there are no words to describe how wonderful this hotel is! We splashed out on the Cream Suite and my god it was worth it. They even asked us when booking whether we drank tea or coffee and had put our preferences in the room for us. We were treated so special and they loved that we...

Walked in on the off-chance for a quick overnighter. Managed to bag a room at a discounted rate which was a bonus. The place is small (8 rooms, I believe), tidy, very clean and position A near the water. I had a wonderful room overlooking the 'Rock'. Slept like a baby in a super comfortable room with all mod-cons and...

What a great place. We were treated as if we were their best customers. We walked in hoping at noon on a Monday and they greeted us like their favorite family visiting. The large room was outstanding, clean, large, so comfortable. I spent a lot of time in the three spray shower and the jetted tub. This is the only...

Super cute boutique hotel. Owners were very nice and actually introduced us to celebrities at dinner in a nearby restaurant. Rooms are newly decorated, very large. Good parking.

We stayed in this beautiful Inn last March, for my parents' wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time (they even had my parents' name printed on the menu!). It is a family business and the owners are the most warm and attentive hosts. The room are decorated in a very tasteful style and are large and comfortable. The food was...
