The price was right, but the breakfast was not a typical Comfort Inn. We understand things are different because of COVID, but this was the only motel with such a LIMITED breakfast. No cereal, milk, yogurt, cheese sticks, boiled eggs-all things that are COVID friendly. Your choice was a frozen egg and cheese croissant or frozen burrito. They give to you in wrapper to take back to room to microwave. So if you stay, plan on going out for breakfast.

We spent one night here. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and everything worked as it should. The area felt safe. The mini frig had a freezer section so we were able to refreeze the blue ice from our cooler. Breakfast wasn't spectacular, but nonetheless had a decent offering (sausage, omelette, cereals, yogurt, muffins, and a few other things). There was lemon infused water available in the front lobby. I would recommend this hotel.

We were very happy with our stay at Comfort Inn! Clean, quiet, well appointed, and newish. They had a free internet computer in the lobby which u could use, no waiting. They have free wireless too but you have to bring your own laptop. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had warm smiles. The Comfort Inn is right next to the Microtel. Don't make the mistake! The Microtel is cheaper but I heard they have pre-fab type rooms with thin walls and the room is very "micro" (hence the name of Microtel). It is not a real hotel/motel. Book at the Comfort Inn. I found that i got a cheaper price when I called Comfort Inn directly and ended up with a cheaper price than using the online brokers (expedia, etc) Comfort Inn's breakfast was very hearty and put a happy face on me. They also had a pool, sauna, fitness room with new equipement. This hotel is new-ish so everything is clean.

When you drive down Condit Rd, dont make the mistake of choosing a hotel before the Harley Davidson shop because they are more expensive, more used up. Drive past the Harley Davison dealer (you gotta be rich to buy one of those $20,000 motorcyles!) and you'll see the Comfort Inn which is located direcly across from some Swim Center.

I feel very safe at the comfort inn as a solo female traveler. Rooms are always clean and the place is very quiet. I travel here quite often and the staff are always very friendly. My only complaint would be that he auto sensor lights that come on by themselves are very annoying! If I get up in the middle of the night to use restroom I do not need to be blinded by a bunch of lights! But I will continue to return, it is a great value

We were attending the Saturday wedding of friends in Morgan Hill. While recent stays at Choice Hotels were less than stellar, as a Choice Rewards member I decided to give them another chance.

The Comfort Inn in Morgan Hill was everything we could have hoped for. Obvious attention to detail. The hotel was clean. It smelled good. The room was well-appointed (and very comfortable). Everything worked as it should have. Breakfast was good. Desk clerk was friendly. Hotel is conveniently located near US-101 Freeway. Amenities include pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room. Rooms have microwave and mini refrigerator and thermostat-controlled HVAC. I was impressed!

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the Gilroy Outlet Stores and their offer of 'shoppers package'. We were on our way south to LA and decided this would be a good opportunity to get in some shopping at a great outlet mall. The hotel is just off the freeway at Morgan Hill, about 10 miles north of the outlet mall.
It appears to be fairly new hotel in an area of several motels and other freeway exit businesses. It is far enough away from the freeway so it is very quiet and the area seemed to be quite safe. The rooms are large and very comfortable. There are restaurants nearby, but a little too far away to walk. We had dinner at the outlet mall, so that was not a problem and the hotel offers a nice breakfast bar.
The only problem was that the desk staff didn't seem to know much about the shoppers package, but the manager did and gave us a bag with a nice selection of coupons and other offers.
Only problem was, when we tried to use the coupons at the outlet stores, they were outdated. However the store people were really nice and gave us the discounts anyway.

I've stayed here before, and as a whole, for the rate that I've paid, it's been an OK hotel. I have had multiple experiences with the room keys not working properly and having to be re-keyed (like other customers), but tonight took the cake. Yesterday, I called to have my reservation extended from Saturday to Monday. I arrived late tonight after a long work day and a late dinner with a colleague, to find out that my stay had not been extended. I was also told that this Comfort Inn could only extend my stay by one day if I changed rooms. When I returned to my room, I checked on-line and found that they had King rooms available at $175 to $250/night on my travel agency website, tripadvisor and this Comfort Inn's website. I think they cared more about the weekend profit than this customer, so I won't check in the morning to see if anything has opened up, and I've booked another room at a cheaper rate with a better complimentary breakfast, just down the road. As a busy field research scientist for a private company, I don't have time to mess around with checking throughout the day tomorrow. And considering that I found a leftover Chinese dinner in my refrigerator when I arrived, and a layer of dust on some shelves in the room and bathroom. . . . . Steve, Dekalb, IL

Hotels in Morgan Hill fill up fast.

Often been stuck with the choice between comfort inn quality inn and Microtel in this town
I've stayed in them all. Comfort Inn wins in this price point when you account for cleanliness, comfort of bed and friendliness of staff.

Though we had booked a non-smoking room, it was immediately clear that the previous guest had smoked at least a pack of cigarettes in the bathroom. It's gross feeling smoke cling to your body even as you step out of a shower. We reported the issue immediately but nothing could be done because the hotel was fully booked.

I don't ask much from this sort of hotel, primarily a decent night of sleep on a reasonable bed (75%) and acceptable shower (25%). Accordingly, I feel the hotel owes me a 25% refund. In response to hotel's own survey, the manager said, "I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations" (how about merely "meeting my expectations"?!) but has yet to provide the refund. If they are not forthcoming in this matter, I will extract it by filing a complaint with my credit card company. It should be noted that this hotel has a policy of fining guest $200 for smoking in a non-smoking room. This is adequate to compensate both the hotel itself and any offended guests.

The hallways have a very musty smell. It's not outright offensive but it does make one wonder when the hotel was last aired out.

Breakfast was sad and unappetizing, plain bagels, gross looking sausage (no bacon), the usual dreck. Another guest ran off with the last three small pastries. We chose to eat elsewhere.
