Excellent location in historic center of Monterey, but there's construction across the street. The hotel is constructed quite nicely, but it seems like the owner is deferring maintenance. The evening staff upon our arrival treated us like tourists, not guests. An okay place, but not up to their promotions.

this hotel is within walking distance to Fisherman's wharf. Be prepared to pay an additional $20 per night for parking in the tight basement lot. Pillows are small and flat, no robes or slippers are provided.

Booked this hotel through Groupon for a pleasure/business trip due to the grounds and amenities viewed on their website. The hotel is a typical "California beach" style hotel with outdoor walkways to the rooms. The room was very large with a cathedral ceiling with a large ceiling fan. The bed was kind size and comfortable. There was a gas fireplace...

Always clean and comfortable rooms, and great friendly service. We were able to walk to Fisherman's wharf and have lunch at the Grotto and just watch the fishing boats. Very relaxing and always too short a visit. I did notice they are starting to renovate, which would make it even more appealing.

My sisters and I loved the seating area with comfy couch in our junior suite. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and it's a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants and Fishermens Wharf. Very comfortable beds and nice bathroom with separate tub and shower stall, especially liked the fabulous shower. The courtyard had comfy furniture, would be great...

Stayed at this place last weekend during the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf event. Loved It! A little older but a gem. Had a large suite with a fireplace and really enjoyed it. Would have liked to have had a little more time to relax at the hotel as they have these cute courtyard areas with comfy couches/tables to sit in...

Our room was so romantic, with our own private fireplace, patio (the flowers outside were blooming and perfumed the room when we left the door open) and the bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower. Lovely accommodations. :-) PS, the parking fee was worth the money. I didn't have a ticket at all and we walked almost everywhere we went.

My flight to Monterey was cancelled the afternoon of my scheduled stay at Hotel Pacific in Monterey. I contacted the hotel mid afternoon and cancelled my reservation. It was far past the hotel's cancellation policy, but due to the reason I had to cancel with the hotel, I was hopeful that the hotel would not charge my credit card, even...
