Nothing extraordinary about this place. What you see is what you get. Safe zone, reasonably located if you have a car. Service to rooms only by request. Sufficient parking. A few dining places within walking distance.

Hotel's Favorite
Read very good reviews about the property. Pacific Inn did not disappoint. Mr. Karun from the front desk was warm and welcoming. He took his time to ask about my day, any fun plans, and explained the facilities of the property. Room is newly renovated, wooden floors, awesome bathroom, microwave and fridge w freezer. Ample free parking. This is definitely my go-to place in Monterey from now on.

The manager went out of his way to give me an upstairs room that I had requested. The bed was comfortable, the room was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The coffee the hotel provided was very tasty. I would stay there again! I highly recommend this hotel!

Clean hotel. No breakfast. No daily room service. Reasonably big room with comfy beds. Coffee maker but no tea maker or kettle. Location is not too far from center. Convenient for us. Parking space available.

This is the second time in 2 months that we have stayed here. Excellent both times. Highly recommend this Inn. Staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is above par. They make sure everything is clean, towels, washcloths and rugs are clean.

Room was great for the price. The room was large, and the sink was separate from the toilet/shower. This helps when traveling with a group. Hairdryer and iron were both in the room, and there was a fridge. Beds were comfortable, and there were extra pillows and an extra blanket in the closet. There was no breakfast, and the doors open to the outside. This does not bother me at all, and the area seemed perfectly safe, but I do know that some people do not like that. We stayed to go on Chris' Whale Watching Tour the next day, and the location was close to the dock. Walls were slightly thin, but nothing major. I was still able to sleep.

This hotel is great if you're looking for a no frills, clean, safe hotel ran by a solid crew of nice people. We've stayed here a couple times when visiting friends in the area and looking for a nice place to lay your head down after spending the days out and about. Two thumbs up!

The is a professionally run motel that is clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and It is located within walking distance of the fairgrounds and many food options. Only a short drive to the airport, downtown Monterey and Carmel. This is a great option to avoid the high priced hotels closer to downtown Monterey and Carmel.

Stay one night. It's a clean hotel/motel with nice upgrades and amenities. It was loud with street traffic and thin walls but we ran the AC fan on low and it drowned it all out. We were here on the off season so parking was fine but I can see it being a problem during peak season. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. Staff were friendly.
