This place was above and beyond my expectations! Usually when we travel we stay at expensive hotels with crazy prices but this time we decided to try spending less on the room and more on the fun while being in Monterrey. The room rate was insanely cheap for the room! The room was spotless, the check-in/check-out process was simple, and they provided extra shampoo/conditioner/body wash in case you forgot to pack some. The biggest part that sold me was that they have mini fridges and microwaves in the room, and I know a lot of places do but the last 4 fancy hotels I’ve stayed at charged almost $100 extra for an upgraded room that included that. Overall, I had zero issues staying here and if you’re looking for a place to sleep comfortably or even spend time inside of and just eat pizza without giving up an entire life’s savings, this is your place! I will stay here again and again.

This is a newly renovated motel and some of the rooms are still in the process of being refurbished. It is located on a busy road, and there is no decent restaurant within walking distance. The walls are very thin, so I would suggest getting an upstairs end unit.
The Indian guy at the front desk was not particularly helpful or welcoming, but another younger lady whose shift started a few minutes after our check-in was very accommodating and helpful in changing our room to a quieter one at the back of the motel.
Overall, it's a no-frills place to stay, okay for a night or two, but for a longer stay, I would probably look elsewhere. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. There is a Keurig coffee brewer in the rooms which is a nice touch.

Great service from a family owned Inn. The rooms are comfortable in a centrally located site with good access to local amenities such as fuel, food and leisure. The staff went out of their way to store our large luggage in a safe site whilst we went sightseeing to the aquarium and restaurants.

The Pacific Inn was very clean and delivered everything they promise on their website. The room had clearly been recently refurbished and looked like the pictures.
The room we stayed in was very noisy as the distance between car parking space and motel is very small. You can hear other guest conversations from outside and the room is lit up every time a car goes past.
The reception staff were lacking in customer service.
The location wasn't in the nicest area and backed on to a busy through road. The motel is close to Monterey Peninsula airport and as such there is some plane noise.

The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. Other than that I’ll take a pass on this place.
I had to wear earplugs. It was noisy. I was downstairs and could hear every footstep upstairs. It felt like they were coming through the ceiling. The bed creaked when you moved. The front desk attendant woke me up with a phone call at 8:00 am to ask if I wanted housekeeping service, even though it was part of the regular routine. I’m still unsure why he bothered me.
WiFi was not good and I was right next to the office. Big negative.
I usually stay down the street at Lone Oak Lodge. I think I’ll go back.

My vacation experience was negatively altered by being overcharged for a room. I reserved a discounted price via Booking.com and was surprised by being charged hotel’s full rates plus daily service charges.
This was more of a motel not a hotel as there was no room cleaning or any other services included. The side room’s Wi-Fi was too weak and constantly dropping.
On the positive, the room was very clean, newly remodeled and had a small refrigerator. Many stores and restaurants close by. A 6 min drive to the beach and downtown. Overall, very conveniently located.

The rooms at the Pacific Inn were updated, very clean, and spacious. The pillows were very fluffy and the beds were comfortable. The sink was separate from the toilet/shower which is great when you have two ladies getting ready for the day. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. The coffee was very good. The staff were very nice.
Fisherman’s wharf is less than 10 minutes driving time away. The only downfall to this hotel was the wifi as I kept getting disconnected. I would definitely stay here again as it was a great value for money!

Having frequented the area often, we decided to give Pacific Inn a try. As a germaphobe (before Covid) I could tell upon searching the room it was incredibly mind blowingly clean! I cannot express how much I appreciate the cleanliness, especially this day and age! Keep that up and thank you!
The room was comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated the mini fridge. It was mostly quiet but has thin walls (not uncommon in the entire area including expensive Carmel stays) so depending on if you have a quiet neighbor you may or may not find a good night's sleep.
No pool means no chlorine smelling towels or loud kids running around! No breakfast but that was ok for us as we don't need breakfast. Plenty of options close by if you do need that.
Our only complaints are: the parking is awful. There isn't enough, it is tight and they are first come first serve which is a bummer. There is a gate in the back that is locked. It would be nice to have that open to enter and depart quicker.
We will definitely be staying here again.

If I could, I would rate 3.5 starts. Don't judge a book by its cover. The rooms within were clean and you can tell that management upgraded the rooms. The only problem is the noise from other rooms so bring some ear plugs. I greatly appreciated that my puppy was welcome. There is an enclosed area for pets to roam in.

I have stayed in Monterey many times before in hotels that lacked cleanliness and left me dissatisfied and disappointed. This hotel was different and allowed me to relax. As soon as we entered the room it had a clean smell to it. There was no mold, dirt or stains on the wall. Overall a super clean room. I always do a test when I stay in rooms and where my white socks to see how dirty my socks are at the end of the day. They were still clean at the end of my day. We will definitely stay here again our next Monterey trip.

I believe so
I don't know their policy, and I cannot remember when we checked out. Most similar places will accommodate one our later than their checkout time, with no extra pay, and will have a rate per hour, for every hour beyond that.
But best to just call them and ask.
