Stayed here with family for two nights while driving up the coast. Location is convenient to PCH. If your room is close to restaurant it will be too loud. Luckily we were not. We spent the day touring Monterrey and the hotel was more than convenient. The only real issue we had was that the internet was basically un-usable. I...

This hotel is quite a walk from the beach, Aquarium and shops but all down hill so not to bad until you head back. Ok if you are up for a walk but not for the elderly or frail. They would not let us check in early (just two hours) so left luggage in car and walked down through the...

We stayed here as part of a package tour and were underwhelmed. While the hallway to our rooms was ramped, the end of the corridors were open completely to the outside. Our corner room had easy access to the pool area ( again no wall at the end of the corridor ) but was close to the a main road...

I booked this hotel above all other because it had a Jacuzzi thinking that after a long day of travel, this would be a great way to relax. We arrived to find the Jacuzzi locked and temporarily out of service due to maintenance! Later I was told it was due to rain - but the pool was still open. Hotel...

I come down to Monterey every year to play a company golf tourney. I stayed at the Bay park for a number of years and then switched to the Comfort Inn down the street for the last several years. This year, I decided to try the Bay Park again. The rooms have been refurbished. No more carpet, they have laminate...

The last review I did of this establishment was back in 2009 (Previous stay was 1994). While traveling along the Central Coast, we decided to spend a few days in Monterey. Having not made any reservations we called the day before and found a lot of places were booked (Not typical for September) In my last review of the place...

Nothing in inexpensive on the Monterey Peninsula. Locally owned, Bay Park Hotel was our choice and we were happy with it. Modestly priced by Monterey standards, we found the staff to be pleasant and helpful and enjoyed the way the room was kept by housekeeping staff. The floors in our room were vinyl planking or laminate, which we considered a...
