I have stayed at many hostels around the world and this one is one of the best considering location , cost, amenities, etc. It is still a hostel and should be compared to other hostels. I have stayed here 3 times over many years and still rate it highly. Seeing how much other accommodations cost in the area makes this...

The motel/hotel rates all appear to be through the roof in Monterrey. That is why is was such a pleasant surprise to find this gem. The place was clean and comfortable, plus contained a large common space 'living room' to relax in. They provide you tokens for a shower (each token is worth 3.5 minutes) but they give you three...

I stayed here two nights on a cross country trip from TN so hostels are a must when I'm able to save money. Never did I ever think I was about to stay in something so beautiful and nice! I mean, any hostel international place holds up pretty good standards of what a hostel should be but this just blew...

I travelled with another lady friend and stayed in the 16 beds mixed room. The bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep soundly every night. There's also plenty of space in the room for my two suitcase. The "quiet hours" rule works really well to ensure you a peaceful night. I love the common area on the first floor,...

Monterey is an expensive place so it was understandable the dorms were expensive. The hostel is lovely and clean, and the common room is really nice. We were a wee bit annoyed that the wifi didn't reach our room but it was ok to pop upstairs. Breakfast was cracking but I felt totally hounded by the staff to donate some...

What a great place! Clean, spacious and very homely. Staff were always around to help and made checking in and out a smooth and care free process. Big kitchen and common area to meet people. Very chill vibe as is all of Monterey! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Four of us stayed in one private room, so we did not share sleeping quarters with people we did not know. The property was in a great location with free parking. We checked in on Friday, walked everywhere we wanted to go before checking out on Sunday. Most of the areas within the property were clean. Some of the items...

The hostel was very nice, clean, and welcoming. The staff was very nice. You need coins to use the showers. We must be in California. We rode in on our motorcycles and we felt the parking was safe. There is plenty of it as well. No alcohol, huh? We left to early to try out the breakfast, but I would...

This was my first trip to a hostel which was precipitated by single travel. I work the AT&T pro-am as a marshal and my son could not go with me this year. To save money, since I stay for a week during during a "high season:" hotel rate I took the chance. Am I glad I did. I met wonderful...

The hostel has a good location and there is free parking available. The facilities are clean and you can clearly see that they tried to turn this house, which hasnt a lot of charme from the outside, into a little gem. The common areas are very nice and comfy. I was sleeping in a room called big sur with 16...
