Property is located on a busy corner but was pretty quiet at night with the exception of some people arguing as they walked by, but that is not the inn's fault. I was concerned when I walked in the room saw the only one bed, as there were three of us, but then I saw the twin bed tucked in...

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of our tour of California. It's easy walking to the shops and restaurants and the harbour. The room was comfortable but not big; breakfast was good and you could take it to your room or eat on the verandah as there is no dining room as such. You will get...

This is a motel on the edge of Monterey centre. The chap who booked us in was very friendly and welcoming. It's a pretty motel where the owners obviously take pride in the property, we unfortunately had probably the worse room in that it was very dark as obscured by the external staircase. However it was very clean and well...

Very clean rooms! Perfect for a quick stay in Monterey, very friendly staff too! Easy walking distance to downtown, shops, bookstores(!), and down to the wharf area. We stayed in room 6, easy access to the sweet patio where we ate our breakfast.

Really lovely and helpful staff who gave us a very warm welcome, advising on sightseeing trips and activities, nearby restaurants and pubs. Really appreciated their tips and even bumped into Cory who's managing the hotel and his wife at the pub/restaurant that he recommended to us. We've been looked after very well. All rooms are being upgraded at the moment...

I chose this hotel based on reviews from TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. It is a smallish, motel style property of two stories. The room was plenty big enough for two of us and our large suitcases for our 4 week road trip. A simple breakfast is also included in the rom rate which is served in reception, the space...

We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night after driving up the coast from Santa Barbara before heading to our final stop of San Francisco. My wife found this on the web and we had a king size bed that included fridge micro and free wi-fi and complimentary breakfast all for $99/night. Room was clean and...

We stayed at the Villa Franca In. In April 2016. From the location to the smallest amenities everything was wonderful. This is an exceptionally well cared for motel. The office staff is delightful. The breakfast is hearty and quite tasty. It is very much like a B&B with outside rooms. Very homey and cheerful. We will be staying here again...

We stayed at the Villa for two nights and had such a warm welcome by the manager Cory Stayed in room 15,perhaps the quietest though a bit small, but was very comfortable with all specified amenities. They have really nice cup cakes at breakfast, which are baked every evening on site Cory gave us two hot cup cakes to savour. He guided...

Our party of four shared a room for an overnight stay during our trip down to Monterrey / Carmel. It is a very pleasant and well kept motel. The room was spacious and clean, the beds large and comfortable. The breakfast (picked up at the reception kiosk) was much better than I expected with juices, eggs, toast, fruit and coffee....
