The inn has clean rooms. There could be more electrical outlets. I gave the inn a 2 considering how staff and administration failed miserably to handle a room full of disturbed singing drunks. The disturbance went on all night even after repeated attempts by inn employees to quiet them down. A refund would be nice....

So we stayed here in the beginning of September and visually it leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are ok. They're not huge or well lit, but if you're in town and looking for a place to stay and save some money this place works. There is a parking garage on the ground level. Location is great! Very...

Stayed one night on a trip from San Francisco to San Simeon. The room was mega hot when I got in and no aircon. Had to open bathroom window at rear to let the heat out. Interior is dated including animal print bed spread! Needs updating but probably one of the cheapest on Cannery Row.

We had a four-night stay at the Offer Inn, and found it perfectly adequate for our needs. It's really well located, walking distance from Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's not a luxury property, and doesn't bill itself as one, so if you're looking for a spa bathroom or gold-plated faucets, look elsewhere. The property has outside corridors...

Me and my party stayed here for two nights during the Monterey Car Week and considering that the hotel was sold out it didn't feel like it was busy. Upon checking in we two very friendly people to help us. We also got a small basket full of breakfast items and crackers etc. There wasn't a free breakfast but this...

This hotel is obviously old. I've never seen bedding like this in a hotel. A fluffy zebra blanket?? We did not take off our shoes and did not use the shower. The towels were old and the carpet looked even older. Other reviews commented about the hidden microwave, our room did not have one at all. It very weird for...

The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. It is a plain overnight room. However, is wonderfully situated to walk or Trolley all over Monterey and in the heart of Cannery Row. A great overnight place if you want to be in the heart of things for a reasonable rate.

As others have said, the location is perfect! Two blocks from all the crowds and noise, but a convenient walk to anything that you would want to do. The room was an adequate size, clean and with an unexpectedly large bathroom! The beds were comfortable and the whole complex was so quiet we slept beautifully. Also, free underground parking was...

Nothing fancy, no air conditioning (but we didn't really need it), perfect location for Cannery Row. Clean, friendly and reasonable priced. No breakfast, but they provide a basket of snacks and pastries. I would recommend it for an overnight stay in Monterey.

The Otter Inn is not fancy, by any means. But, the location is amazing and the price can't be beat. You are 2 blocks from The Aquarium, a block from Cannery Row and and all its wonderful shops and restaurants. We had fabulous meals at Bubba Gumps, The Hula Island Grill and the Cafe at the Aquarium. We had two...
