The cleaning staff keeps this Navy Lodge VERY clean, which is a huge factor for me when staying in a hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say as a negative was that the walls are thin, you could hear children yelling frequently. They have a free continental breakfast that consisted of coffee, milk, cereal,...

Children running and screaming in the hallways at night, because it wasn't quiet time (it was 2130, quiet time at 2200) clerk refused to ask parents to have children be a little quieter. Resulted in my husband having anxiety attack (has PTSD).

Very nice and the weather daily temperature was wonderful - somewhere between 56 to 73 degrees F. I am from Dallas and it has been an average hot summer in Dallas so far 18 days of 100 degrees F, but still hot in September. I spent all day at the aquarium on September 8, 2016 from 8 to 4 in...

The Navy Lodge Monterey recently added family suites. This two room suite is great. All the rooms are large, but these are more than adequate. I am glad to see with my family. I enjoyed the playground. I just wish family housing would allow us into their exercise room.

Although this Navy Lodge was excellent when we last stayed here, the new resident manager is instituting some changes that promise to make it even better. If you are authorized to stay here, this is your best bet in metro Monterey. Ten minutes from the Aquarium!

This was a nice navy lodge. They were able to upgrade at the time of check-in for a suite. The suite was very clean and nicely decorated. The living room and bedroom had a dvd player. The only cons were the beds weren't too comfy and the heater didn't seem to be evenly distributed in the rooms. Overall we had...

We arrived at the Navy Lodge in Monterey and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The rooms were updated and actually had color on the wall instead of your typical white walls. Very clean and very comfortable. Staff were super nice. Absolutely would stay here again. They do not have elevators so make you specify when booking rooms...

This is a great Navy Lodge. The staff was very helpful and they have plenty of coffee and bagels available in the morning. It is very close to the mini mart so it's a great place if you have a military ID card. The rooms are standard for navy lodge and you may want to request a first floor. They...

We have been immensely pleased with the various Navy Lodges (and Marine Corps Inns) we have stayed at, particularly because they are so accommodating to our service dogs, Jack and Winston. Monterey was no exception. It is a fairly new property, very well-appointed, and with a very accommodating staff. It doesn't have the charm of the Navy Gateway Inn in...
