We had a great time in Monterey, and the Jabberwock Inn was a great home base for our adventures. The owners and staff were very friendly, and the food was marvelous. We would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to be within walking distance of the action. Parking was never a worry because of their on-site parking area.

We spent 3 days in the TumTum Tree Cottage and had the best time. Rick and Suzanne were wonderful hosts whose B&B is beautiful, fascinating and full of life! The TumTum Cottage gave us privacy and space for 3 of us, and offered us a quiet refuge at the end of the day. Rick, Suzanne and Dorothy were generous with their helpful advice, tickets and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and the needs of our vegetarian daughter were always graciously remembered without reminder. The JabberJuice is a particularly fond memory which we have relived at home with the recipe. all in all, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Monterey.

Fantastic stay at The Jabberwock on our trip to California. The house is perfectly located, a couple of blocks up from the famous Cannery Row but far enough away to be peaceful. There is a strong theme as the name suggests, but everything works from the titles of the breakfasts to the beautiful decor. The house is just stunning; our room (Borogove)had everything you could wish for. What made the stay special, though were Rick and Suzanne. Both have been in the hospitality business for a number of years and it shows. The evening drinks and nibbles were an inspired way to get the residents talking to each other without it feeling forced, which made breakfast the following morning a lovely experience. Recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Monterey were spot on too. My only regret was not staying for longer.

We spent a couple of nights at The Jabberwock Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. It is perfectly located, a short walk from the beach in Monterey and a short drive from Carmel-on-the-Sea and Carmel Valley. Rick and Suzanne are excellent innkeepers and they and their wonderful staff make everyone feel most welcome. Could not recommend a better place in Monterey.
