We stayed for 2 nights. Very helpful and kind innkeepers. The building is conveniently located and just beautiful. Highly recommend. All Jabberwock themed. We liked the Mome Rath room we stayed in. The innkeepers were willing to adjust breakfast to our food allergies.

A++ A truly exquisite gem!! Each detail is lovingly attended to-- the gorgeous downstairs decorations with an Alice theme, cozy room decor, the delicious breakfast (croissant bread pudding with vanilla sauce on my day) and warm plated appetizers with wine in front of the fireplace at 5pm. It's immaculate, sunny and welcoming. My room the Mimsy had a great ocean view. Outdoors we enjoyed a lunch we picked up from Sea Harvest just 3 easy blocks away. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming-- and they operate with complete comprehensive Covid safety. This was my first venture out and I felt very comfortable, I highly recommend as my favorite BnB! And don't forget the warm homemade cookies every afternoon.

Almost the perfect B and B. The hosts - Rick and Suzanne - seemed as though they thoroughly enjoyed making their guests feel welcome. The accommodation (we stayed in the Borogrove room) was large and impeccably clean, and the view of Monterey Bay was outstanding. Breakfasts were a highlight, not - as in too many B and B's - an afterthought. The afternoon wine tastings were also handled nicely. So why do I say 'almost' the perfect B and B? Because a few touches could be added at little cost, such as opaque window shades on the south-facing windows, and removable hangers in the armoire (rather than those contraptions which are theft-proof but not convenient - and, speaking of the armoire, the drawer needs to be adjusted for smooth operation.) Those are 'nitpicks' of course; the Jabberwock is a beautiful B and B, to which we'd happily return.

Dorothy and the staff at the Jabberwock went out of their way to make the weekend unforgettable. The facility is clean (uber clean during this pandemic), picturesque, and secluded. They have this great deck/sun room available 24/7, which is great to just relax and enjoy your wine. Just a walking distance from the pier. Breakfast was delicious, and good in portions. The hors d'oeuvre is amazing, and with a never ending supply of wine (really take advantage of this). My only complaint is they do not have a cable car coming to and from the pier to go up Hoffman avenue, cause that hill sucks. Oh well, a little bit of exercise didnt hurt.

Great owners. Rick and Suzanne provide personalized service, attention to detail, and a warm, inviting atmosphere particularly in light of these challenging times. Dorothy, Ruth and Ellie are the inn's long-time employees. Each does a wonderful job. Breakfasts alternate daily between savory and sweet. Each dish is innovative and delicious. Finally, the Lewis Carroll "Jabberwocky" theme throughout the inn is delightful and entertaining.
