We usually try and stay here at least once a year. The hotel is close to the ocean and there’s many restaurants around. This time we stayed in the garden room which is located upstairs in the back of the hotel. It has a partial ocean view, but the room is quite spacious. The room has everything you need and even some things you didn’t know you needed. The bed was comfy and we honestly had a good nights sleep. We do miss a restaurant being on site, only because I missed the bacon in the morning. There was quite a few options for breakfast; cereals, bagels, croissants, yogurt, as well as juices, water, tea and coffee of course. We hope to come back soon!

We picked a King suite with ocean view. There is a wonderful balcony/deck outside the room that allows you to relax, and take in the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was top notch. Additional perk: there are plenty of great restaurants within 3-4 miles down Cabrillo Highway, making this an ideal location to be "away from the crowds", yet close enough to fine dining. There's also this little coffee place just 100 feet away from the Inn that also has friendly staff, solid coffee choices - and their pastries are delish! All in all, we can't wait to go back.

The room size is excellent and the room was lovely. Side view of ocean from the deck. Not really a walkable area. But again, the room was great-coffee maker, fridge, ice maker (!). No elevator so the trip to the 3rd floor was steep.

This Inn is across the street from the beach. From the room, and outside on a shared deck, you have a beautiful ocean view. Rooms updated and large. No elevator, at least I didn't see one. Staff was wonderful. I had a few room requests and they were taken care of before our arrival. Breakfast was decent. Self serve and individually wrapped. Ice machine in the room with small fridge.

We booked this hotel for one Saturday night. The location is okay right next to a gas station. The room looks nice online but in actuality the bed was as hard as a rock. It was very noisy also. The service was nonexistent. We had to request the WiFi code and time of breakfast. The city lost power for some time no one bothered to check on us or provide us with updates. We had to research through PG&E ourselves. The "breakfast" consisted of store bought packaged pastries and bread to make toast. No fresh fruit or other options. We slept so terribly we checked out at 8 am. No one asked us about our stay or thanked us for staying. Probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

We booked this as a 2 night stopover on a PCH trip. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The traffic noise on Hwy 1 made it impossible to enjoy the view of the trees which blocked the view of the ocean. The view off the side of the deck was the roof of the gas station/convenience store. When we brought back dinner to have on the deck, the lock on our room door didn't work. They worked on it for about 1/2 hour, while we stood in the hallway and dinner got cold. The microwave quit working. There is no elevator, so our room was a 3rd floor walkup. We are in our 60s, and in reasonably good shape, but come on. This place was bad enough we checked out after the 1st night. We stayed in a total of 5 places on our 2 week trip, and the other 4 were super. Too many other places from which to choose to bother with this. And this place is 359 per ight??????

We had the penthouse and the bed was advertised as a king/queen. It was really a standard. We also asked for extra towels and it seemed to be a special request. Clean, somewhat off the beaten trail. Close to cafes but for serious dining you must drive a distance.
