I stayed at Sonesta at the end of January on my way home from visiting family up North. Check in was very quick and the front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating. I did have my small dog with me which always makes me nervous in hotels but she was welcomed with open arms. The rooms were fresh and new with some great modern touches. You can log into your favorite streaming services via the tv and they even have phone chargers on the nightstand. Overall my stay was great I would definitely visit again.
A really lovely European style hotel, beautiful spacious rooms and the comfiest beds in the U.S! The restaurant was very nice, the staff were accommodating for allergy sufferers and we had some great food! Our four night stay was perfect; all members of staff were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Check out the fab bar and restaurant, John Tran is your man!
Our room was the King Executive Suite. I chose this hotel because it looked new and fresh. I called prior to booking and asked about the differences in the King rooms. I was told the higher end rooms were located on the lower floors and would be much quieter, so I booked the top of the line room. Upon arriving we learned our room was located on the 3rd floor -- turns out that is the highest floor so that was false information. Hotel was nicely decorated! The furniture looked great and having wireless chargers on the nightstands I thought was really nice ...BUT THOSE CHARGERS DID NOT WORK. We also could not get an internet connection at all which was troublesome. I initially was impressed when I turned on the TV and had the option to log into my Netflix account, but sadly -- because we had NO INTERNET CONNECTION we could not sign on and stream Netflix. Our stay was for 2 nights - October 24 & 25 - checking out today - October 26. The first night was a Saturday and unpleasant. Apparently there was a group of people occupying several rooms on the 3rd floor that night. I was not thrilled but tolerated the constant yelling back and forth between rooms & the constant slamming of doors until midnight - that's when I draw the line. The guests showed NO consideration for anyone else staying at the hotel and this continued way past midnight. I called the front desk to report this and was told they would take care of it but nothing changed. So our first night was far from what I expected. Our second night - a Sunday night was pleasant and I have no noise complaints. Staff was friendly and hotel is well kept. Perhaps staff needs more training on how to effectively approach noisy inconsiderate guests? All I know is I paid for a top of the line room but had no internet, nonworking wireless chargers and super loud guests that staff did not address or did not follow thru on. I will say that the Lobby is very open and from the 3rd floor you can look down to the lobby. To me, that means the sound should carry and the staff should have been able to hear what I was hearing - either way the first night was less than what I expected by far.…
Parking was right in front of the entrance off of a quiet street. Immediately greeted by Atom (yes, I spelled it correctly) at the front desk. Had a really nice conversation with an easy fast check in. The rooms are super fresh and clean. Furnished modern. The beds are super comfortable. The room had an extra large TV, a Kerig and refrigerator. The cafe grab and go breakfast was fabulous and the woman who served us was really super nice. This is the place you want to stay! Great staff.
Walked out of the hotel this morning to find the rental car had a flat. No time to call for roadside assist, so got on with changing the wheel. I’d only just started when Rene Cortez from the hotel appeared and offered to help. Well I say help, he did the whole thing! Not only saved me from getting sweaty and dirty, but kept me on time for my meeting. With staff like Rene, the Sonesta will do well! So a big thank you to Rene.
