The previous feedback from visitors is true and yet I tried thinking that the management might have noticed the backlash and changed. NOT HAPPENING. The entire trip (7 nights) was a pain to stay at this hotel, especially with kids. Even with a status upgrade, the room is non-functional, the service is non-existing and few of the front desk associates are not fit for any job. Need to pick up room essentials every day from the front desk, I felt like I am in a free hostel somewhere. even motels have better services than this hotel. Definitely not worthy at any cost, Marriott branding is so deceiving and rip-off.

Hotel's Favorite
Thanks to their excellent service and beautiful large rooms, my fiance and I had a superb stay at the Sheraton San Jose! Thao, the front office manager, is absolutely wonderful - friendly, understanding, and accommodating. She is truly a gem. Debbie, Sahar, and Tatiana at the front desk were also delightful and engaging. The guest rooms are beautiful and large and the grounds are lovely. The location is perfect with easy access to all parts of the bay area. Only wish we could have stayed longer, but we expect to return soon!

I was very disappointed with the service for a Sheraton . The club was a joke , no coffee cups , no snacks , some water and a few cans of soda. Every time I went in there I have to call the front desk as the room was not being service with supplies coffee etc. the breakfast was a limited buffet/ continental with oatmeal, pancakes; some fresh fruit , bread and hard boiled eggs . Pretty much service your self, only one waiter to help everyone. He try to do his best. They have a plenty of parking but feel they need to charge an additional 12.00 for what ? It was not gated etc… just a way to charge you more . The room was noise right by the freeway , so do not plan for a good night sleep .

I stayed a total of 5 nights at this hotel, I've stayed before, but only a night or two at a time. This hotel has potential to be much better. I had some issues during my stay and almost left, but Paul (front desk) and Esperanza (cleaning attendant) definitely changed my mind about cutting my stay short. Paul was so amazing! No matter what issues I may have had, he was always friendly, accommodating, and never ever made me feel like a bother! Esperanza was such a delightful person. She came to clean my room and was so nice and helpful. I hadn't experienced service like this in a while. These two individuals truly are what customer service is and they are such an asset to this hotel. Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the rooms, the shower barely gets lukewarm, decor is old and outdated, the restaurant isn't open for lunch or dinner and tv's could use a tech upgrade i.e., smart tv.

Front Desk Manager is very rude. I've called and spoke with her more than once. I was calm and cordial. There is no reason for the manager to keep cutting in when I'm speaking. She does not know the meaning of customer service; in the wrong industry. From one hospitality manager to another, please refresh yourself on your leadership and customer service skills.

For a Sheraton, I was surprised at how poor the quality of this stay was. The pillows and bedding were flat and uncomfortable. They gave us a conjoining room too so we could hear every noise the family next door made. The maids were unfriendly and did not wear masks at all in the rooms or hallways, and the printer was broken so I couldn’t print needed documents (over the course of a week they never fixed it). Parking should have been free and not $10/night. Also, the gym was missing a bunch of dumbbells and equipment. The only pro I can think of is that the front desk staff seemed professional and friendly. The pool also seemed nice, but it was too chilly to use.

I stayed this hotel before which I had a very pleasant experience and be clear even there is no upgrade provided. I love the modern style, electrical charging station in room and two bottles of water which provided convenience. This time, the modern style is still there but I felt not still unwelcomed, not just my suite upgrade was denied [even the suites are still for sale] and it was a quite low season. The front desk first denied the availability of the suite but I exposed the lie. Then she was try to argue the the suite is for cash buyers, not for top Bonvoy member. Oh.. "You got Bonvoyed, dear elite members." Let's see how many people would buy suite at least minute in a low season weekend, or I should asked her at 11:59pm the same day night to see if there is any suite available. Then she said she upgraded me to one of the best rooms in the hotel, where a balcony is included.. After checking the room, I was wondering why a freeway facing room is the best while an even-better courtyard facing room is available. I was really sick about the attitude. meanwhile, the lounge and the restaurant are all closed making 0 value to be a Sheraton. Will try to avoid this hotel next time.

Worst hotel i can imagine Not good room service. No replacement of towels, soap every day. Asked to fix slow drain in tub twice, with promise to get it fixed in an hour but after two days it still not fixed. Hotel website say it has two places to eat onsite. But upon check-in I was told they are closed and there is noting to eat in walking distance. Website is very bad bad bad. (False advertising)

At one point a long time ago this might have been a somewhat decent hotel. Perhaps when Y2K was a thing or Timberlake and Spears were tabloid fodder. Now it’s a threadbare hotel, the kind right above a motel that you stay at reluctantly until you drive past another fine hotel that begins with an S and ends with an A into the primo open parking lot where they charge you for the privilege of staying where some dotcom flunky from the early 2000s might have stayed before cashing in. Room is decently sized but everything is either beat to hell or rusted/secondhand looking. Hotel has no soundproofing and is right next to the freeway so you get the nice motel vibe going. They claim to be in San Jose but are technically in Milpitas. Kind of like how the Los Angeles Angels like to think where they are but really aren’t. At the end of the day, it’s a place you grudgingly stay because there weren’t better options. It isn’t that comfortable, facilities are worn down, and they nickel and dime you with little to justify it.

I’ve been a guest at this hotel on probably six different occasions. Everything I feel like it gets a little worse and more annoying. This last time is it. I’m done. Location is fine and front desk help was ok. But the modifications they’ve made to service in the name of Covid are clearly for their benefit. All guests must enter through one entrance always; the doors close to the elevators are closed off. Also, the restaurant is closed and there is not even coffee available on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays?? They provide a personal coffee maker in the room and include exactly 2 packets of sugar and two thimble-fulls of creamer. Not even usable for an actual cup of coffee. The rooms are run down and in need of updating. Was aligned 2 rooms because of a water leak (a whole ’nother story), and both had loud AC. Uncomfortable furniture. No fan in the bathroom has resulted in rusted out lighting fixtures. It’s just sloppy. Also they now charge $10/day for parking. Why? So they can advertise a lower room rate? No thanks.
