This place is comfortable, clean and freshly decorated, it even had the obligatory outdoor motel swimming pool (no floater). It's well spacious and a good stop over for travelling to Yosemite. The freeway nearby is noisey 24/7, it did not bother me but just be aware. While in the area why not visit the castle air museum.

I've stopped here several times while traveling from SoCal to NorCal. It's a great stopover and quite reasonable. The family has spent substantial effort to rehab and upgrade the property. Staff/family are affable and courteous.

I traveled to Merced on business and booked this place for a week based on TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews. I should have paid more attention to the travelers who warned about the sewage smell that never went away emanating from the bathroom. But I also experienced an unbearable reeking smell of urine and mold, in a small dark depressing room...

Rooms with all the services, but too tiny. The bed was very unconfortable. Breakfast very very poor, and in the main room, without tables and space too eat seated. Motorway and railway too close to the rooms, all the sound can be heared during the night. The only things to recommend are the parking, the price and wifi connection. Search...

For the price - around $87 for the night - the room was nice and clean and the bathroom was modern. Aircon is a bit noisy but drowns out the hwy noise. Recommended if passing thru, espif you are on your way to Yosemite. Breakfast was not great. By the time we popped in, all that was left was some...

I had read good reviews of this motel and so booked it for two nights. My partner and I couldn't wait to leave! We're travelling across America and have stayed in many motels now and this was definitely one of the worst! I can not understand how it got good reviews for cleanliness because it was really dirty and disgusting....

Room was clean and compact. Chose this over the Quality Inn. The hotel was very close to the main road but with the air con on you couldn't hear it. The staff were friendly and it was clear that the garden and grounds were very well kept. A free breakfast is offered it looked to be cereal and toast which...

America's Best Inn Merced is a cozy motel with excellent customer service. We stayed her before visiting Yosemite on our road trip from SoCal to the Bay Area. The room was clean and comfortable. Maria, at the front desk, not only cooked us an scrumptious crepe breakfast, but also helped me where needed for parking took a Giants game I...

Hotel 4 of 14 on this trip. Picked this because of price and ratings and wasnt disappointed. Small clean but adequate room, cute bathroom with nice toiletries and decent shower. Wasn't bothered by the noise from the highway but the train horn is obvious. Well looked after gardens adequate breakfast. Ideal location for onward travel
