We stay at the Stanford Park when we are in the Palo Alto Area. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great, and it is nice to also have a space outside for drinks and dinner. Covid standards are maintained and when you have to travel this is a great choice. We particularly like the rooms facing the courtyard. The rooms are reasonably priced and convenient to Stanford and also great shopping.

We stayed here with our 3 and 8 yo daughters for a trip to American girl and it was absolutely magical. They had beds, robes and slippers for the dolls. The staff knew our daughters names and asked them all about their trip and were so very kind. We also loved making s’mores at the fire pits. We will definitely return!

I grew up in San Mateo all my life and now live in Sacramento. Stanford for me has the warmest memories of the football games, and going out to that "nice mall out in the country". The drive along 280 and the venture down Sandhill Road always gives me wonderful recollections. For me personally, the Stanford Park Hotel encompasses all those times and truly I feel "at home" there. Warm comfortable rooms with a fireplace available, a stellar staff that treat you with individuality and yet at the same time, don't overwhelm. I had stayed here once before during the pandemic and the Tavern was closed, but was so happy to see it back opened during the Holiday Season with guests enjoying their time with smiles on their faces at the table. The hotel also consists of a wonderful courtyard with a firepit and gives the feeling of relaxation and comfort. A nice walk across the El Camino and you are at that "nice mall out in the country" which of course has become a bit more exclusive since I was a teenager. Back then, it had a Woolworths! Yes...dating myself. Anytime I have to be down in the Bay Area, I always try to make my stay here. It's a wonderful place and truly my home away from home.

We have stayed here before and had a nice visit. This visit was not relaxing at all. The TV in our room would not keep a signal so we just turned it off. But the train noise was constant until midnight. After finally falling asleep we were awakened at 6am to the start of the trains. Just seems that the staff should disclose that there WILL be train noise. But after checking out and not even being asked how our stay was my only conclusion is that they don't care. This is a beautiful property but we will never return.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel feels very cozy with its understated luxury. The rooms are spacious and they have a nice pool and hot tub outside. The inner courtyard is also great to enjoy some afternoon drinks. The restaurant is very good, the only downside is that they did not provide room service. This might have to do with Covid, so not sure if that is always the case. In short, I will definitely stay here again in the future.
