X at the front desk went above and beyond. X helped with bags since there was no bell staff or valet. She took photos for the bridal shower party that were fantastic. The whole NIA team is fantastic, especially X. Can’t wait to visit again soon!Great work X!

the good room is nice. stylish. property has nice outdoor area if you can ignore highway. EV charging. not so good they charge you $20 for self parking. wasn’t clear at all upon reservation. there is no free option. there is no bottled water provided in room there are no toiletries in room. which i don’t mind too much from a green pov. but would have been nice at least to have a way to request lotion. property just didn’t feel very service oriented. employees not that helpful or looking to help. guests seem like more of annoyance or them.

I checked in at 1:30 AM after a long flight from the east coast only to find that the room I was given did not have electricity, it was pitch black. I called the front desk from my cellphone and asked them to send someone up to see if they could get the lights on and was told that she could not leave the front desk but that she could provide me the keys to another room. Since she couldn't leave the front desk I had to go all the way back down with my bags to get the keys. The second room I was given had electricity, I settled in for the night but was very disturbed by the air conditioner that would turn on and off every 5 minutes. I was tempted to ask for another room but it was already 2:30 AM and i was exhausted from traveling so I just slept without air conditioning as I could not deal with the constant on and off of the AC. So the next morning I informed the front desk of the issue with the AC and I was transferred to a corner room that was a bit bigger and had a soaking tub (I am a platinum elite Bonvoy member and the room was an upgrade at no cost to me). Although the AC in the new corner room was more quite than the other room, it was still bothersome. I would just leave the AC on while I was in the room and turn it off at night to be able to rest. We stayed in April and luckily it was cold enough outside to keep the room at a confortable temp; not sure this would have been feasible during the summer. Another issue that I had was that the hotel is next to a freeway and there is vehicle noise all night, it was annoying but I could deal with it unlike the AC noise. The onsite restaurant isn't open for breakfast but they do have a small cafe that offers coffee and pastries. If you have a car I would suggest going to a nearby cafe called Mademoiselle Colette in Menlo Park that has the most amazing coffee, bread & croissants (I found this place thanks to a recommendation from the front desk) I think this hotel is great for a business stay for a night or two but if you are in the area on vacation I would certainly find another hotel that is in an area that is more quite and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping areas. This hotel has many 5 star reviews from TA members with only 1 or 2 reviews on their profile which makes me a bit suspicious on the authenticity of the reviews.

I recently stayed at hotel Nia for the first time over the weekend in addition to being impressed with the white glove cleanliness, the decorum, the pool, and the various outdoor sitting options. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by Jeremy in guest services. The work ethic demonstrated by this employee was refreshing and made me feel like I was the only guest in the hotel. It was the Staycation of my dreams can't wait to go again! I highly recommend this hotel for a getaway that has it all.

So much was perfect about this trip. From our pleasant chat about the room best suited to our needs, to the state of the art interior, and the modern structure, we felt elevated. The pool was warm and it was our first time lounging in one of those poolside cabanas. Please ignore this review so we can get another cabana when we go back this summer. The meeting rooms were really quality and the "Yosemite hike" we did on the elliptical got us super pumped for the day. Took a whee spin around the neighborhood on the loner bikes, and loved that they were painted gold and white. So fresh, so clean. The grounds are worth a romantic stroll too. Hint, hint - proposal anyone? This hotel meets museum quality expectations. The food offerers and the front deskers were immaculate and so polite. I miss you my Nia!
