I was staying in suite #33 and changing into a bathing suit to get into the hot tub that's in the room's private patio. We had the curtains to our room wide open and a man walked into our patio area when I wasn't wearing any clothes! I called the front desk and they were completely unapologetic. They said guests...

I have been coming here for almost 40 years and try to always book the upper barn suite. The fireplace is huge and stone and the view from the bedroom is of the harbor and part of downtown and is perfect. This is a place to come to be romantic and take long walks around the headlands and the town....

We have lived in the area for 16 years. During that time we have stayed at many hotels in the area for anniversaries and special occasions when our children were young. The MacCallum house is by far our favorite. Recently we stayed at Ocean song which is a vacation rental. It was very clean, nice and had all the comforts of...

amazing and service was awesome. we got a deal from trip advisor, so there was no choosing of which room it is. Dinner was expensive, but the food and organic mendocino wine was worth. bathroom doesnt had a rug which caused us a little bad, but still apart from that evwrything was a good experience for us.

My wife and I love to fly up to Mendocino to get away from our busy life. We love to stay at the MacCallum House Inn. We stayed in room 17 in the barn. It has a hot tub on our deck outside, jacuzzi indoors, sauna, and a wood burning fireplace. The bed is very comfortable and the view is...

We spent two nights at the MacCallum House Inn. We rented the Ocean Song house. It is a two bedroom house, a short walk from the Inn. The views from the deck, living room and master bedroom are spectacular! The house itself is very nice except for the downstairs bedroom and the two bathrooms. Both bathrooms need work. The vanities...

My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite, room 32, at this Inn for our 30th anniversary celebration. What a disappointment. When we entered the room there was a very strong odor... we think it was pet urine... so strong we had to open the sliding glass door in spite of the chill. No amount of fresh air would change...

Called ahead the night before to reserve a room at the MacCallum House and to make dinner reservations. No problem with reserving a room, the agent was very polite. When we arrived we found a small desk on the second floor of an old victorian house. Very cramped and no privacy talking to the “front desk”. (BTW, I wouldn’t recommend...

Such a beautiful place- so many rooms/suites to choose from. A historic house-totally updated and beautiful. The grounds are lovely. Mendocino is a small town. This is right in the middle,so you can easily walk about. A lovely dining room & bar. Our dinner was terrific, service was great. Can't wait to see what breakfast will be like.

The website makes this inn look like it is right on the coast, in fact it is a few blocks away and the room we stayed in didn't even have an unobstructed view. Our reception was lack luster and directions to our room resulted in a 15 minute walk around the property. The room itself was nice enough, however the...
