I can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is - beautiful rooms, quiet, classy, great food, friendly staff! It had been 10 months and I was definitely ready for a return visit as part of a four-day vacation. A full breakfast is cooked to order and there are several selections to choose from. Wine and nibbles are served daily... More

This is an older property, historic, and the rooms reflect that character. They are nice, but have the feeling you're staying in older times. This hotel is QUIET and they shut the place down about 8 or 9 although available if you're checking in late. We had spent some time in Mount Shasta and had dinner there, but enjoyed a... More

We've stayed at the McCloud Hotel several times in the past couple years, and each time it's like coming home to friends and family. Cindy, the Inn Keeper is incredibly hospitable and welcoming and the staff are all friendly, too. The hotel is lovingly and beautifully restored and immaculate, and the craftsman decor in the common rooms as well as... More

The Manager, Cindy, was able to book 7 rooms for us with no problems. Cindy gave us a warm welcome and got us to our beautiful rooms right away. The hotel is very old but in a good way. It has been restored to show off it's lumber town heritage with photos and albums throughout the building. We were a group... More

Just got back from a four night stay ... went for a wedding near Mt. Shasta, but stayed in McCloud and so very happy that we did ... great accommodations, great staff, great food, and great owners ... guess you can say we had a great experience! We are former inn owners ourselves and can really appreciate what Cindy &... More

We spent the night here on our way south. It is a great old building with lots of history and is well preserved. We had dinner in their dining room and had a very good meal. Our room was very big - not your usual hotel room. We will definitely go back.

Perch smugly in a bright, spacious, quiet, upstairs corner room. Complimentary glass of wine in hand, meander out to the balcony with a fresh breeze wafting street sounds upward, thin and spare, the hills beyond providing a backdrop for this sleepy village. If you like early 20th century craftsman ambience, you'll enjoy this place; it's an authentic time warp, graciously... More

My husband and I traveled from LA to Mc Cloud Hotel with another couple for three nights in late June. Our newly renovated second floor King Suite was exquisitely appointed, grandly spacious and was even equipped with a copper tub. We loved the best water on earth, views of majestic Mt. Shasta, a gourmet dinner in the garden, breakfasts cooked... More

Great old hotel that is clean and updated. The outside garden and mature trees make for beautiful views out the windows. The bed was comfortable. Nice sit down and order breakfast was included in the room price. Great place to stay when visiting in the McCloud area. When packing to leave, my husband missed packing the clothes he had hung... I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. I had a queen room for the first night and I returned a day later for a king room. Spacious rooms. Everything in the rooms worked. Friendly staff. Breakfast was cooked to order. Pancakes, quiche, eggs were all on the menu. Coffee, tea, juice and homemade granola were set up at the tables... More
