Good experiece. The rooms were cozy. We had a two bedroom cabin. Nice cable TV, and a kitchen where you could get up early and make a cup of coffee and just relax. It's within walking distance to the historical town of McCloud. There are little shops and resturants. It was just a wonderful weekend.

Great place to stay if you're looking for a clean claw foot bathtub to take a relaxing bubble bath or shower in after a long journey or at the end of a perfect day. Steve, the owner is a gentle, nice friendly guy who goes out of his way to make your stay nice and has lived there all his life. Walk outside your cabin and you see magestic Shasta Mt. out to your left. Place is cozy, beds are comfortable and kitchens are nice. Just a short walk to town and quiet place to lay your head to rest. I would stay and will stay again. The Inn is a great value and a diamond in the rough! I traveled from my winter home in AZ to my summer home in WA and stayed here!

I agree with the other reviewers before me--it's basically a set of plain older duplexes on the side of a residential area, but they are well worth the price. The bedroom, kitchen, and living room on the one we got were quite spacious. Nothing fancy, but met our needs very well, and the manager, Steve, is quick to help with whatever you may need. (My sunglasses broke and he even helped me repair them!) He and the whole Inn are extremely laid back, and that was perfect for an affordable overnight near the lovely McCloud Falls.
The internet was a bit sketchy...we had to go near to the manager's place to receive it well.

These cabins apartments are clean with lots of space, your just walking decent to down town McCloud. Kitchen has only a large fridge, coffee maker, and microwave - NO oven or stove if you do cook you will need to use the BBQ outside. Prices are great !! Steve is the owner and yes he is a very friendly guy- that will go out of his way to make your stay great while your there...

What a great place at a great price! Other places in town were way over priced mostly close to $200.00 a nite. This place was under $75.00 a night. It was a 2 bedroom, kitchenette with a claw foot tub/shower , hot water, so much character. Looks older on the outside but clean, comfy bed, best nights sleep as we are traveling from CA to Victoria Island. Would stay here again for sure!

It is hard to explain in words how nice the owner, Steve is.

We rented a room in Timber Inn McCloud for a group event. We reserved room for two guests but ended keeping only one guest.

After the stay, Steve called us and informed that he would like to refund some money back as only one guest stayed instead of two. Initially we reserved many rooms and informed Steve that we will give 60 days notice but we gave only 4 days notice. I told Steve to keep the money as a compensation from us for not giving enough notice, but he insisted that his charge is only for whatever we used and he does not need even a single penny extra. He insisted us to come and collect the extra money.

Not only this: In the first two days after reserving, we kept the room empty as the intended group member didn't show up. Steve noticed this and gave us back one day charge.

It was really hard for us to believe that honest people like Steve are still living around us.

Cabins are basic and clean with lots of space. The kitchens have full fridges, coffee pots and microwaves, but no oven/stove. Booking and checking in couldn't have been easier. Good value. We would stay here again.
