We are a quiet, family-friendly 68 acre campground in California's Fall River Valley. Pine, oak, and juniper forests stretch between lakes and rivers near our Lassen County campground, making this section of northeastern California famous for activities like fly-fishing, golf, hiking, biking, and bird watching. Join us for Northern California camping at its very best as you make day trips to see the amazing Burney Falls or Mt Lassen or to fish on Eagle Lake, Hat Creek, Baum Lake, Pit River or the Fall River. We have a pool open from June into September!
I was recommended staying in the cabin available here by a friend as a way to get out of my comfort zone and "get away". I stayed two nights and let me start by saying that Ben and Danelle were excellent hosts. Very warm and welcoming and a total blast and vibe to hang out with and talk to. The campground itself was very peaceful and quiet, and the marked trails and paths were fun to walk and the art scattered along the trails brought a sense of joy and unexpectedness. The cabin I stayed in for two nights was very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and it was secluded enough to sit on the porch and enjoy the night sky to end your evening with the peace and quiet. Everything just felt calm and relaxing, and you could just breathe and enjoy yourself. Other places (parks and national sites) to visit weren't too far away so it made the location wonderful. Oh and if you can, try to book a massage with Chris Farber, she's talented and a joy to converse with!

We have stayed at Lassen RV Resort twice in 8 months, and have found that the site is consistently well maintained, attractive, quiet, and enjoyable. When Ben checks us in he always makes us feel welcome. The hosts have set up online check in, which means guests can read and agree to rules before arriving. No signing of papers! The bathrooms are immaculate and the showers are wonderful. I especially appreciate the "All are welcome" sign that greets guests when they arrive.

This park is well maintained and we found it very quiet even though there were many campers the same week. Thank goodness for the pool, laundry facilities and showers. This is a charming campground with very friendly people and Ben was so helpful with our planning and visit. There are many walking paths and it is close to our family for our annual reunion. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back next year.

The park has nice extra large spaces very quiet. The office staff was very helpful and went out of there way to do things for guest. I give the park a AAA+ rating. We also had family come to the park with tents they loved the nice showers pool and extras that the park offers

We entered into a season's contract with the owners last spring. That went smoothly. The problem arose when the owners decided they wanted to use the space, we had reserved for the season, to expand their offerings, by increasing tent camping availability and by providing what they termed 'the ring of fire experience' (which is nothing more than a depository of excavated rocks) for nightime gatherings. They told us they would give us a full refund (which they did). We were astounded to say the least but decided that we weren't going to get into a confrontation with owners who didn't want us there. So we stayed calm and relaxed, dismantled our campsite, packed up and left. I notice now, from viewing their website, that the intended purpose of the space appears to be exactly the same... except in one aspect.... the daily rate has nearly doubled.

Simply put, yes, this was a hard choice to make in the early weeks of our business. COVID hit the country, we lost a TON of business, and we were already facing an uphill climb as new owners taking over an underpriced and undermarketed campground. We had to move our business forward, and choices were made, not without much consideration, and it was the right one then. And, every choice we make allows us to grow, as people, and as a business. Even the hard ones that aren't always comfortable, and without uncomfortable effect.

Even though we arrived 20 minutes early, Ben was ready for us with a map and site guidelines. He graciously welcomed us to the Lassen RV Resort, which we found to be well maintained, equipped with sparking clean bathrooms, and to have spacious, comfortable sites. Ben and his wife show care in their administration of this resort.

I planned a getaway for my husband and myself. Due to COVID, all the other rv parks I tried to call were either closed or never returned my call. Last resort, I called Lassen RV Resort. I spoke with Amber who was friendly and very accommodating. When we arrived, again, due to COVID, we were greeted at our vehicle. The sites are the widest and longest sites we’ve ever seen and we have done our fair share of rv’ng. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. The showers/restrooms are very clean. Each site that I saw came with a picnic table and fire pit. We never did go into the store or use the pool. It’s a little trek to Burney Falls and Lassen Volcanic National Park, I’ll give you that but once you get back to camp and just relax, the drive is well worth it. The park is a hidden gem, nestled amongst oak trees. Beautiful setting.

I had such high hopes for Lassen RV! After reading it’s great reviews I reworked our original plans so we could visit. At first glance this appears to be my kinda place. Sitting outside the first evening I was formulating 2 future weeklong visits wherein I would be accompanied by relatives that are RV’ers. The next morning we walked up by the pool. Then I saw what they had posted on the fence enclosing the area. What a huge disappointment. I’d suggest you call & inquire about these before booking a reservation. We will not return.

Hello! Can you please explain what you mean by "not family friendly" precisely. We have LOTS of families that come here and are raving about how family friendly we are, from our clean pool, trails that kids and others can access on foot and bikes, and the fact we have 24 hour on site staff. We fly flags of the United State of America front and center around our pool - did that offend you? I'm sorry, but we're at a loss!

Great RV Park. Gravel roads & pads, fairly level. Lots of trees, deciduous & evergreen. Activities for the whole family. They have equipment available at the office. Free DVDs & various sundries in the office. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Enjoyed our short visit here. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great place to relax.

Our D4 site is truly awesome and the best one in the park. It is the largest RV campsite I’ve ever had in 14 years. Picnic table, fire pit, WiFi that works and oh so quite. The park has nice amenities and a friendly staff. Lots of pull thoughts. We stayed in a 40 foot MH with a toad.

Hi, around Christmas it is cold and may involve snow. Snow tends to come and go quickly, however. Our beautiful park will be closed from December 16th through the 27th. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to call us at 530-336-5657.
