We are open every day and welcome you to enjoy this very historic treasure for an overnight retreat or a stop midday to enjoy a delicious lunch on your Highway One travels. Our menu features local farm-fresh produce, locally sourced seafood and meats and our Executive Chef prepares a daily menu that focuses on the bounty we procure from our neighboring farms and ranches. We serve lunch Monday-Friday at 11 am; brunch Saturday and Sunday at 10 am and dinner every night at 5pm. We have twelve luxury cottages: five are situated directly on Tomales Bay and seven are situated across historic highway one in a meadow. Views and serenity abound! Wood burning stoves are ready to light each night and every morning our fresh pastries and french press coffee are delivered to your room! We look forward to seeing you soon!

I booked a reservation in Ruthie's cottage as a surprise for my husband's birthday after seeing it on Check Please. Funky elegance is my best description for this adorable cottage which needs to be experienced to understand its charm. Despite Covid-19, a wildfire and unreasonable county rules, the staff at Nick's Cove still managed to make this a very special night. We were served an excellent dinner of fresh local oysters, authentic clam chowder (no unwanted California-inspired ingredients) and delicious crab cakes in the magical nautical setting of the crab shack at the end of the long pier stretching out into Tomales Bay. Watching the tides, the changing mist and the sunset boaters was all the entertainment needed. A comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, and a good breakfast delivered to our cottage completed this perfect getaway. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

This was our third time at Nicks. We always have a relaxing time. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fair at best. The rooms are a bit tired and need some updating. Service was average but friendly. BH

What a great Bay Area location for a weekend!Cottages are lovely, very clean, all the amenities you’d need, so charming and dog-friendly. Nick’s Cove restaurant has a great menu and everything is delicious. Their COVID adjustments make for a very comfortable stay with continental breakfast delivered to your room and the staff takes such good care, everything here is lovely. Lots to do in the area or just lay low and relax.

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Only negative was slow WiFi. Definitely worth staying again. Will want to try a cabin on the water next time we visit. Thank you for a relaxing and peaceful weekend.

We stayed two nights in Nicolina Cottage and one night in Big Rock Cottage on the water. We eloped while out at Nicks' and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottages were super cozy, clean, and charming. The hospitality and service were top of the charts, and the location is unbeatable. Wil love Nick's and intend on making an annual retreat.
