Our room was very clean and smelled fresh. It was also nice and cozy warm. The beds were comfortable. The Hotel owners were quite helpful and friendly when registering for a room prior to arrives, and upon signing in. Also, due to particular needs, we were helped most graciously.

Enjoy our one night stay, room 3, the only room with two beds, twins. Decorated very cute; good restaurant right next door. Friendly! Good place to stay for fishing near by!! Very little to do in town but mainly scenery and fishing. Good little restaurant next door for breakfast!

Visited 7/19/16 during a motorcycle trip that involved coming over the Carson Pass from the Bay Area staying one night and continuing on to Lake Tahoe. Jeanie ( the owner I believe) is a wonderful and very pleasant person. She not only runs the place with a partner (Todd) she does from what I understand the cleaning of the rooms...

What a friendly, pleasant mountain retreat! Our king bed was nicely made with a pretty quilt and soft linens and the room was truly spotless. Rooms are in a one-story building next to the historic building shown in the picture with the restaurant on the first floor. On arrival, our hostess moved us to a room farther back from the...

I found Creekside Lodge a while ago on one of our visits to Grover Hot Springs. The owner, Jeannie, was so nice and accommodating-she allowed me to check out her rooms for a future stay. It took a while, but we finally made it there. The rooms were tastefully done - small, but had everything we needed for a nice...

We were met by Todd (I believe that was his name.) when we pulled up and shown to our room. There was no check-in or for that matter check-out. He turned on the heat for our room showed us the ice machine and vending machines nearby. He also advised us that if we wanted lunch we need to get over...

I seem to be finding all the best places lately. This is the only hotel / motel in the sleepy little town of Markleeville, California. Its located smack on State Route 89 and hence its street parking. But what delightful rooms. Great comfortable beds, clean as a Marriott property and very cute furnishings. I worked and the Wi Fi was...
