We stayed at Bear creek for 2 nights. Lou Ann is a great host an imediately made us feel at home. The livingroom, bathroom and bedroom were really clean. The bedlinnen was fresh and the beds were nice and soft. We enjoyed our evenings on the porch while watching sunset. It is a really nice and quiet place. There's also... More

My father and stepmother came out from Vermont for a Yosemite trip with my wife and I recently and we stayed at Bear Creek Cabins for three days. I really like this place. It's conveniently located off of Hwy 140... very close to the entrance to Yosemite. The cabins themselves are very nice and exactly what we wanted as far... More

I'm sorry that I didn't heed the warnings of the other negative reviews of this place. While the photos depict pleasant looking accommodations, it's far from it. There are four motel style units in this single building and we stayed in the end unit #4 which consisted of a Living Room (1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed) an upstairs... More

Is it your typical hotel situation? Nope! But the room was beautiful, clean, well appointed, and quiet. Rustic setting in a log cabin. The woman who owns it is sweet and friendly. Helpful as can be and no drama. There is no wifi. But they have cable and hot water which was much appreciated before we headed to Yosemite to... More

Traveling with a teen who requires gluten-free food so knew we needed a kitchen. Stayed in #4 which was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was clean and has everything we needed to cook and store food, which helped keep our 4 days visiting Yosemite more reasonable, as we typically ate out for only one meal a day. Yes, we drove by... More

My husband and I booked a cabin for 2 nights and only stayed 1 night only because we had no other options. This place was nasty, extremely run down, sheets smelled bad, mattress and pillows were gross and one of the worst experiences we have ever had.

WARNING !!!! Do NOT stay at Bear Creek Cabins!! Worst experience of my life& we travel ALOT!! We rented this cabin because it was a last minute decision to go to Yosemite National Park. My family and I had two cabin suites from 5/15 to 5/18. Cabin #3 was disgusting, had rat droppings in a drawer next to the stove, tons of cob webs (some hanging on a picture frame above the pillows), dust everywhere, sticky floors, dirty stove, fridge and windows. I could have made a pillow out of the dust and cob... More

The positive; Lou Ann was lovely The shower was powerful and hot Beds comfortable Close access to Yosemite Great verandah Kitchen sufficient AND well priced. First impressions were a bit odd when arriving, the property has random large rusting things dumped and the internals of the... More
