Mariposa is a lovely place to visit with many a restaurant or cafe to choose from to eat..The lodge is covenient to everything and has free wifi, average facilities and a decent bed to sleep in. The staff were hard to reach at times for help but in general.a nice place to stay.

Good location for visiting Yosemite, in a nice quiet little town. The motel was tired & in need of a revamp. Cobwebs aplenty in the room, shower a bit grotty. For me it was just a base to visit Yosemite, so was ok, but for anyone wanting a bit more class, this is not the place to stay

When you are doing a roadtrip like we were, you come to a varied range of hotels, motels and Inn's. You always try to find a good balance between cost and comfort. When we were booking motels for our roadtrip of the Westcoast of the US, we came across the Mother Lode Lodge because the location in Mariposa, not far... More

Good: Location is ideal for hitting all the shops and restaurants in town. Ice machine pumps out a lot of ice for your coolers. Close to Yosemite Valley - 44 miles - without the high cost of staying in the park. Free parking and wi-fi works good. Very friendly employees and will take carrot any requests. Big pool. Lots of... Good location outside of Yosemite. Better pricing since it is outside Yosemite yet only about an hour from valley floor. Clean rooms quite seating. free wi fi a little slow. Fridge in room. Shower only no tub

We spent the night there after a day in Yosemite. The room was clean and a decent size and had a fridge and microwave. It is convenient to restaurants in town. The bathroom had no bath soap or shampoo, just liquid soap in a container. The TV is DISH TV. It was a bit expensive for what you get, but... More

This is a very nice place off the main street and lower than the main street, so little noise. The rooms are small, but well equipped, clean and comfortable. There are not that many rooms, so little noise, and the owner can tell you all about the town, where to eat , etc. This was a one night stay and... More

About an hour away from Yosemite. Nothing special but suitable for a one night stopover. Bathroom was tiny and the shower was quite awkward to use and I'm not a big person. Room was a little tired looking and quite dismal. We stayed 2 nights and coffee wasn't replenished. Nice little town.

Checked in fine. Parking outside room =Very good: Room very clean= Very good: Free Wi-fi works very well=Very good: Ice machine broken and no replacement provided=Not good: Heater in room cannot be adjusted with broken control knob=Not good: Bedcovers old,one is torn and tabletop is severely 'distressed' = Hopefully profits will be re-invested and this little gem will shine....

My brother in law and I stayed here Thurs the 8th during a moto-trip around the yosemite area. It's pretty conveninetly located and there are enough little restaurants and such within walking distance. The facilities themselves are pretty old and not perfect, but it was clean and the price wasn't bad.
