Calming location away from the madness of LA, perfect for unwinding at the end our 2 week Route 66 road trip. Route 66 ends in Santa Monica, but I wanted to be away from the crowds after such a long drive, so Marina Del Rey seemed perfect given its proximity yet seclusion from Santa Monica. After staying at the Ritz, I’m even more happy with that decision. The grounds and hotel itself are lovely, but what really stood out was the customer service. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating even during covid. The best part was being upgraded to a marina view room with balcony for being Marriott Platinum without even asking even though upgrades are generally for Titanium and Ambassador level elites for Ritz Carlton properties. It was such a treat to look out onto the marina during sunset from the balcony and hear the seals barking at night. I had such a great experience that I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for any future R&R staycations.

My fiance brought me here to spend the night after he proposed. Little did I know he had planned it all out in advance and the staff helped my fiance's family set up roses, champagne and photos of us in the room. It was magical. They went above and beyond giving us a room right on the marina. They even handled it really well when I as a platinum member asked for any upgrades (reservation wasn't originally in my name) and they had to pretend they couldn't accommodate given how the room was set up. Staff was great, room was wonderful. Great stay.

The Ritz is my go-to hotel to stay when I'm in LA for work. It's central, near the airport, clean, isn't in the middle of town / traffic and customer service is great. the restaurant is a good option for b'fast and meetings

I travel a lot and the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey is on my top 5 list of hotels to stay. The only other hotel I will put up against this hotel is the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The staff here is outstanding from the maids, room service, check in, restaurant, valet, you name it.

We had a stay at one of the King 10th floor rooms with a partial marina view. It was nice and clean. The bed was confortable. The decor was tasteful. Order breakfast and it was good. The hotel staff kept cleaning surfaces around the hotel. They were very nice and helpful. The room had a small refrigerator and a sophisticated coffee Machine. They provided espresso pods and High end tea bags. There were complementary bottles of water all over the room. We loved that you can go through the pool area to walk on the pathway next to the marina. The only Con is there is only valet parking available and we like to choose to park our own car. The cost for parking wasn’t cheap neither. Otherwise everything was excellent.
