I booked this hotel for a 6 night stay. My connecting flights got delayed and I arrived 1 day late. I called at 7am the day after my scheduled check-in to let them know, and the hotel informed me that my reservation had been cancelled. Expedia would not offer a refund, and I am left without a hotel room and no refund. The staff at the hotel maintained that this was policy, that it was my responsibility to inform them earlier that I would arrive late and were unwilling to do anything to help. I arrived in LA to no hotel or refund. All this after delays, missed connecting flight and lost sleep. Wow, I’ve never had this experience at a hotel. Disappointing! Staff stay committed to company policy over customer service or empathy for clients travel experiences. Don’t expect any empathy and make sure to call them even if you’re running on no sleep and attempting to make other travel arrangements due to delayed/missed flights!!!…

Loved our time there. The room was very nice, great furnishings, the bed was marvelous, everything was sparking clean. The view of the marina was wonderful, the water was very soothing, the seal roaming aroud the waters was fun. Great hotel, great stay. Not a highbrow experience, simply a very good hotel in a great setting.

Beautiful hotel. Quaint. Spectacular views. Great Restaurant and friendly well stocked bar. We wdre well taken care of by their staff. Our Valet was Danny Santiago. The pool was bath water warm. On cool nights you can still dine outside as they have a heated patio and bar, also fireplaces.

Danny and Santiago were so so helpful with getting my car and took such care of it. Overall the staff at the hotel were kind and went above and beyond to make sure I got the gluten free and vegetarian food I needed

The valet team (Jose, Ben, Santiago, and Dennis) was amazing. They were informative about the policies of the parking lot when we asked and provided a quick and smooth check out upon me picking up my car. NOTE: if you pay with a card, the transaction doesn't allow for an added tip so have enough cash to at least tip.

Our valet guys, Johan and Dennis were the friendliest, and very accommodating! I had my baby with me and I was given so much grace and patience and I really appreciate that. We were here for the SALT restaurant, which is my favorite place to brunch in Marina Del Rey.

Beautiful property with harbor overlook! A peaceful nook in frenetic L.A., the Marina Del Rey Hotel provides great service, beautiful rooms and terrific food. It's a bit out of the way, so allocate a little more travel time. Plenty to do by the harbor.

Great hotel. Johan and Dennis at the Valet are top notch and make you feel very welcome. They are friendly and prompt, and really provide an elevate customer service experience. It was a nice afternoon at the hotel and the food at the restaurant was really good. The view can’t be beat.

This is a well run boutique feeling hotel. The rooms are ok. What you’re really paying for is the cool LA vibe, the location, the gorgeous marina views, the pool, the lounge areas, and the excellent live music entertainment with musicians like Curtis and Keith on Wednesday nights. You’re also paying for excellent valet service by Santiago and Yohan. I’ll be back !
