I recently booked a stay online and had to cancel my booking later than expected. Eddie was awesome! He cancelled the booking for us at no charge and was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. Loved staying at The Inn @ The Beach. The style reminded me of late 60s beach hotels. It was a hidden gem for sure. Simple, cute and a great value. Located 2 blocks from the beach with amazing places to dine all around. Highly recommend.

It was a bit misleading from the photos. I thought from the photos we would be on the beachside of the street. Instead we were in another building across the road with a tiny view of the water between two buildings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but tired with the bathroom being very dated.

a hotel seemingly from the late 70's,with few upgrades since. the manager is not a people kinda person, and should not be front desk as he often is. rude, nervous seeming guy. his two male helpers were great however, very helpful. when I complained about the serious mold odir in the room I was given, I was told "well that's an older unit" peeling paint, etc did not add any charm.... the location is good, close to the beach, but also sits right on manhatten Beaches busiest road... hotels near the beach in the upscale mb area are scarce and I'm sure this is a default choice for many. very average poorly managed, and overpriced. +good luck getting any of your chargers to stick/stay in the decades old plugs..... set your expectations low, and enjoy the frequent cool ocean breezes..... …

I travel to El Segundo for work regularly and always stay at the Sea View Inn. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the three block walk down to the beach. Plenty of food, drinks, and coffee nearby as well. If you're looking for the lap of luxury, this isn't it. But it's cute, very clean, the pillows are perfect, the beds are fine, and you can't beat the price. And did I mention how great the staff are? Also, if you get an ocean view room, you can sit out on your little deck with a cup of coffee and look out to the ocean (or watch the world go by below you). I adore this place and always look forward to staying there.

Great location very close to beautiful beach (steep climb but gorgeous homes line the paved path), several good restaurants blocks away - I enjoyed Sloopy’s and north end cafe, Main area with many more dining and shopping options at 15th st. I borrowed bike daily- rode down there & to Vons grocery store. Really great to have free bike access. Also did bike ride at sunset - highly recommend you catch the sunsets. staff very helpful and accommodating. Very modest accommodations but I found the standard room clean and comfortable, nice to have balcony with partial ocean view. No elevator so keep in mind if important to you. Cost me only $20 to lyft to LAX airport and got there in about 15-20 minutes. Female traveling solo - I felt safe at hotel. Even though at first glance I wasn’t sure. I did ask the staff and was told it was safe. Nice and quiet at hotel except when housekeeping got going in am I heard much noise above me and in supply room (?) outside my room (103) - I think it was housekeeping but I’m not sure. …

Location and staff are great!! The room was quiet and clean, beds are comfortable. Believe it or not, it was cloudy and rainy all weekend, so hopefully next time we stay we can take advantage of the bikes and beach chairs. We still had a wonderful time in Manhattan Beach! We will definitely be staying at the Sea View Inn again.

Unbelievable location. Room was clean with modern shower (two queen bed room). All beach necessities included just pick up at office including chairs, umbrella, beach toys, coolers…parking at sight in great and reasonably priced (everywhere charges) conveniently located to sight see area, we visited Catalina island (about 40 min at best to Long Beach to catch ferry), Hollywood/Beverly hills and Malibu all within 1 hour drive. LAX less than 10 minutes. Manhattan Beach is an amazing town, great restaurants and some cute shops, upscale. Visit uncle Bills pancakes, recommend pineapple coconut pancakes and sit outside. Have stayed once before and will continue to return. Best location and beach out of all the area hotels in my opinion. Just a note: beach and strand are minute walk but down steep hill. Can drive to public beach lot for easier beach access if hills are a problem.…

We (2 adults, 3 children) stayed for 3 nights in an apartment. The location was great (close to the beach), the room was big and comfortable and the staff was very helpful! You could ask for (free) beachtowels/chairs/parasols and even bikes. The only negative was the outdated bathroom. It could use new tiles and showerhead.

Sea View Inn felt like a cottage at the beach should feel, a bit weathered but super comfortable. It was perfect for our stay! The staff was helpful and friendly, parking was easy and plentiful, and the beach was so close. We will stay again if the opportunity presents.
