We had just come from a hotel in Santa Monica that took the pandemic seriously and still managed to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately the Belamar did not have it figured out. Basically there is nothing for them to offer but a room. No food or drink, no bell service, one elevator and silence at the front desk when you come and go. We have stayed here often and were used to a much better experience.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for 20+ years and I certainly recognize the impact that Covid-19 has had on hotels and their service levels. Even so, the Belamar has sunk low. Ants in the room. Clogged drains. Dirty. Yikes

I come to this hotel often. I’ve had a few unpleasant stays just due to staff and location/room, etc. but I’m not one to complain. I kinda just sucked it up. Before changing my mind, I stayed again and came across a lovely young man by the name of Allen. He changed my mind. He was so warm, so welcoming, and placed me in a perfect location. Thanks for reassuring that The Belamar Hotel is perfect 👌🏼

Love Belamar! beautifully redone in midcentury beach way. varying shades of white and tans in the rooms. The record player in the room is so fun! I spent hours listening to records and drinking wine. It really took me back. The beds are comfortable. The Shower head is pretty decent. There is Kuerig in the room. The location is right off a nice walking path that takes you to the beach. The staff was approachable informative and kind. Huge fan of this Hotel.

Is so much I can say good about this hotel it's a little out-of-the-way hotel very quiet maybe a mile from the beat they have rooms with balconies is that face the courtyard which lights up at night they also have their pool is Center pool house with a retractable roof until out of the way hotel if you just want to relax the rooms are huge and they even have a old school record player with vinyl that you can get downstairs at the front I can't wait to get back
