It has to be the worst hotel I have ever been in and I have travelled the world. The room was awful with a sloppy made bed and badly stained carpet. The cost of $180 was pure robbery. Breakfast was cold scrambled eggs and greasy bacon. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Great place to stay. Casino was good to us, food is good. Pet friendly, little out of the way, but easy drive to Canmore or Calgary. Rooms were spacious, clean, and beds comfortable. Will be back, highly recommend!

For a $200+ a night hotel when asking for a coffee maker, only a few coffee and tea packs are supplied. The included morning breakfast is of poor quantity with 2 slices of bread, scrambled egg with slices of bacon, if you choose a cup of orange juice, you've to pay for your coffee if you choose to have one.

This place is absolutely terrible! The common areas and rooms are very dirty. During a health pandemic you would think there would be some type of preventative cleaning, but not at the Stony Nakoda. There were blood stains on the bedding. The a/c-heater sounded like an old John Deere tractor rattling non stop. No Kleenex, no toilet paper, no hairdryer & no coffee machine. The Room phone didn’t work to call the front desk. Needed to get someone to fix the TV. The staff can’t answer questions including basic ones about the hotel. The outside area is just pathetic, littered, unkept and littered with cigarette butts.

This place is a dump. We booked a junior suite and were given a price point over the phone when booking to arrive at the hotel and pay $40 more than expected and be told it’s because of taxes.. Upon arrival to our room the AC units were not working... thermostat was reading 28 degrees. We were trying to unplug the unit etc and nothing was working. Called down stairs and no one answered the phone so we had to call again. We were told someone would come up to look at it, 5 minutes later the unit randomly kicks on and is working.. my partner calls down to cancel them needed to send someone and is greeted on the phone by “Yes we are sending someone up!” unfortunately I feel as though the people who work here could use some people skills especially when working in hospitality. The Carpeting In our room has huge air bubbles underneath it, heavily stained, and is completely torn up by the fireplace, there are huge black marks and gashes on the white walls, it was easy to get a coffee machine brought to the room although not the coffee, sugar, cups etc. The person manning the front desk this morning just could not comprehend what a coffee cup was for some reason. It’s disappointing because from the highway it appears this could be a nice place but after the experience I would not recommend to anyone. If we are paying $250 for a place like this.. might as well pay an extra $50-$100 for somewhere you know is maintained and cared about as this place isn’t
