Had a great experience, Mackenzie at the front desk provided a high level of service, and gave us a warm welcome. I would recommend this hotel. Close to shopping and boutique stores. A very nice brewery is next door which was a nice surprise, the restaurant was under new owners and is yet to open back up.

I stayed in room 133 at Toll House last week for a wedding and was awoke before 7am by a construction worker having a speaker phone video call outside my room that continued for at least 30 min. I spoke to what I assume was the same construction worker later that day as I saw him outside the room next to mine with a new toilet and other parts and told him I hoped he wasn’t about to start banging around bc I had just put my baby to sleep and he had already work her up that morning. He did not seem to care that he might be disturbing my family with two small kids. This continued for our 4 day stay at the hotel. I have no idea why a hotel would do construction on the rooms right around ours during our stay. I completely understand that construction needs to happen but the hotel was in no way full and this wing should have been closed during early morning and all day into the evening drilling and banging. The outside terrace never had evening lighting turned on which was was also a bummer. And the restaurant was never open during our stay. Super disappointed. Other than that I did love the location of hotel but they should definitely do better for the price of their rooms.

I made a last minute booking on a Thursday night Room 245.I was upgraded but if this was an upgrade, I would hate to see the original. Boring non-descript room overlooking a cement courtyard. No pool, no restaurant, not even a small bottle of water in the room and weather 100* You have to wait in line to buy bottle water at reception. There is coffee makings and a robe (1) in room but no water? While on an excursion to purchase water in lobby a man appeared with a bag seemingly looking for the elevator. He yelled out to the receptionist Room xxx and the receptionist pointed to the elevator. Really? No security measures? Anyone can just cruise through the hotel unchecked, straight to ones room? Super noisy with patio music blaring at 1:45am. Called the night clerk and she freely admitted it was the hotel sound system. This is the most expensive place to stay in Los Gatos. It offers no value, a bad nights sleep and zero security.

I'll just go into the "Pet Friendly" categorization. When you check in they say - that will be an extra $75. Does that mean they pay their house cleaners an extra $25 an hour for three hours to clean up any possible dog hair we left in a pet friendly room? And while many "pet friendly" hotels have a dog pad and a dog treat on the table in the room - not here. For $75??

Been staying with this hotel for years and since their new recent management change, it has been driven into the ground. Standards of quality is very inconsistent, there are countless issues with the rooms regardless of their recent renovations that they seem to boast about. Something will always not be working so you'll have to end up changing rooms a few times until they find one thats in decent shape. To top it all off, during my most recent check-in at the front desk, there stood a man whom I found out later is the newly appointed General Manager at this hotel and another one, just standing at the desk with a line of people waiting to check in and phones ringing like crazy not providing any customer service. Another guy walked in that worked the front desk and was berated by the General Manager in front of their clients for not doing their job. You're a general manager there pal. Attitude reflect leadership and I can see why this place isn't what it used to be anymore.
