Located in West Hollywood, close to the Hollywood walk of fame and capitol records building. This is a party hotel - suitable for young couples, friends etc wouldn’t be a spot for families as you can hear the music from the clubs late at night. The Highlight Room rooftop bar has great food and drinks. Restaurants TAO and Beauty & Essex are attached to building (also great food). Only critique is the staff wouldn’t be very warm or friendly ( but I am guessing this is sort of an LA thing from what I gather). All round great stay!

It was a dream! Really enjoyed our stay here. It was an impromptu trip to LA so really appreciated Jessie’s advice at check-in to visit Griffith Observatory. While I hadn’t planned on Griffith, that along with the Getty Center were the highlights of our trip! Thanks also to Shelly the Guest Manager for her help in making our stay extra special. And props to Daniel at the front desk too. The room was especially comfortable with nice views of the Hills. And the restaurant food and service were top notch.

The staff are friendly and polite, but the overall service was disappointing as they didn’t follow through their commitments. Better cleanliness of rooms and newer towels will go a long way to improve customer stays.

Hotel Dream was a beautiful hotel to spend a vacation for my birthday this year. They have an array of amenities that were amazing!!! The rooftop pool was refreshing and the tanning area was very relaxing!!! This hotel is perfect for a romantic get a way because it has an artistic vibe which i Love as I am an artist as well. It is a chill Hotel with wonderful helpful staff. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk concierge. They were very inviting and made me smile everytime I interacted with them. The room itself was phenomenal and extremely modern and romantic, the kingsize bed was a Dream itself. The ambience is modern and hip. I enjoyed everything and will definitely recommend to friends and family for their vacations. Now I know why they chose to call it "DREAM"...as it truly was and exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth treating yourself to.

Dream is an appropriate name for this hotel - on the surface everything seems perfect. But dig just a little deeper and you'll see the difference between dreams and reality. When we first entered our room, we were blown away. It was super modern, clean and the room had amazing views of the Hollywood sign/hills. Then we looked closer... A half-eaten microwaveable dinner had been left on one of the shelves. The shampoo dispenser was empty (and remained so despite several requests to fill it). The drawer next to the bed, when opened, had a whiff of cannabis. The shower door and lip do not fully prevent water leaking out and a transparent window separates the toilet from the shower. We were a honeymoon couple and, despite contacting the hotel in advance about this, our "assurance you will have a special stay!" was...one complimentary breakfast. Very poor compared to other hotels who offered room upgrades, bottles of champagne etc. The food was good but the wait, despite being one of only four tables being served, was over half an hour. On another day, we went to the "Lobby Cafe" where we paid $26 for two croissants and two orange juices. Appalling value. The hotel also boasts of offering exclusive, complimentary "Lincoln Continental" car service. Sounds great. But it's within only a 3 mile radius. Seems oddly specific and, of course, it is - 3 miles is just outside of the range of Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios and Warner Brothers. Absolutely no extension of this 3 mile limit was possible. And that brings me neatly on to the location - yes indeed, technically this hotel is within a minute or two of the famous "Hollywood Walk of Fame". However, the Walk of Fame is much longer than most realise - and Dream is at the wrong end of it. The Chinese Theatre, for example, is a 15 min walk away, and it really isn't the most pleasant of walks to get there. I certainly would not be walking it at night, nor the street right next to the hotel. However, it's not all bad. The rooftop pool is excellent and a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. The location, if not exactly pleasant, is at least relatively central. And, if such things matter to you, there is a popular nightclub attached to the hotel where C-list celebrities (mainly rappers and Instagrammers) go to be seen. I could overlook a lot of Dream's flaws IF the costs were more reasonable. But for the money spent, I expected a lot closer to perfection than was offered.

The location and the property itself is ideal. Staff are very friendly and well intended. My room was ready late, after promised time. Didn’t get a text to notify me about the room being ready, as promised. Was told dry cleaning would be ready in 2 days so I submitted my cleaning. Checked out 4 days later with no dress and still have no info on where it is despite 3 people promising to investigate and contact me to update me. Called the front desk for the valet and gave them 25 mins to get it. Went to valet and they said front desk never ordered it. We are gone one of the days until 6pm. Room wasn’t ever cleaned. Ran out of toilet paper. Rain out of hair conditioner (in dispenser). Room is very loud until very late at night due to rooftop bar music scene Rooftop bar could do better being friendlier and value hotel guests more. Waited for a table for an hour and ordered drinks (Ben is awesome) and food while my guests (business) and I waited. Table opened up and hosts said she couldn’t give us a table since we ordered food and drinks and table server wouldn’t get tips. What? I’m the customer and I need to worry about who gets what? I had every intention of ordering more drinks and more food for my clients. How embarrassing. And btw I called front desk to ask if it was brunch or lunch menu that day (Sunday 1:30pm) and was told lunch. Rooftop corrected me and said brunch in our arrival and said “we’re not part of the hotel” when I was confused about the info I was just told by front desk. Really? Not part of hotel but I can charge hundreds in the daily at your rooftop to my room? Maybe you’re not as separate as you think. My rooftop experience is also my hotel experience 3 breakfasts mornings - omelette came out cold one of the 3 , otherwise the food is very good

This Hotel is Hollywood with Class and Elegance!!!! This is my Second time here and will not be the last. My daughter and I stayed at Dream last summer and had a fantastic experience so we decided to stay here again this summer to go to Universal Studios. The beauty of this hotel makes a great backdrop for our selfies, and we love to post pictures while we are here. Then there’s the staff, they are the best!! We were greeted upon arrival by a sharply dressed man in black named Fernando who insures the safety of the guests with confidence. Then at the front desk you have Bailyn, Ethan, and Vaughn who are ready with smiles to assist you with anything you need while staying at Dream. The level of Professionalism here is top notch!! Needless to say we can’t wait to be back. Love the Dream Hollywood Hotel and Highly recommend it!!!

This seemed to be a popular hotel due to the lack of early check in opportunities. We waited 2 hours for our room to be ready as there were no rooms ready. Upon learning the delay was because the TV wasn't programmed to show us our name on check in (or something like that), we let them know it didn't matter as we just wanted to get into our room and go about our day. We spent time at the rooftop restaurant / bar which was a great place and I would highly recommend visiting for views, friendly staff, good drink options. At night, the rooftop area turns into a nightclub. When we returned to the hotel at 11p on a Thursday night, the traffic was crazy as was the drop off at the valet (there is no self park option). A line was out the door for the nightclub. We thought we would have access through the hotel elevator, but the floor wouldn't work. We were tired and opted to go to bed rather than inquire how to access the club as a hotel guest. Overall, a nice hotel, but one we are unlikely to frequent in the future.

This hotel has a night club on the 10th floor that kept us up until 3am and we were on the 5th floor! There were people smoking cannabis in the room next to us so our entire room stunk. This was a terrible experience!

The hotel looks nice, but beware beware of incompetent staff. We paid for an upgraded room but were given a standard one. Also, we were told at check-in that the room would likely be ready long before the check-in time, and that we'd get a text. That never happened. Lastly, you will get zero priority to the Highlight room at night. Guys from the street were pushing past us and being let in, and yet we (hotel guest with wrist bands) had to wait nearly 40 minutes. The bounces let their buddies in. People with table/bottle service were in a separate line, so I know these guys were just being "hooked up."
