The reception staff wasn't too friendly or attentive. The hotel rooms were kept tidy but the bathroom especially needs to be refurbished. Good place to stay for accommodations but not for anything beyond sleeping.

Hotel was clean and polished though it's a dated building. Rooms are clean and up to date. Great location if you're looking to spend time in Koreatown. Hotel staff are friendly. Especially welcoming if you're Korean. Building is quiet and hosts an adult audience.

i have stayed here twice and the rate was about $170 each time. SOUND PROOF ROOMS is something you dont get often because so many hotels are old buildings. Not this one. We usually stay here for birthdays or if we are looking to hit the nightlife in Ktown and it hasn't failed yet. The staff is OK, they dont... More

Was in L.A. for a conference at the Microsoft Theater and got this room. I got in town earlier than expected so I'd hope there'd be an option to check in early. Most hotels I've been to do that. I had to wait 4 hours to check in. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy but... More

I like many things like: Good comfortable beds, spacious rooms. But I didn't like many things like:1-The valet drivers are reckless! They accelerate so hard! Which may cause problems especially the parking area is so limited. He also was watching us while we carry our bags and offer no help! And after that he asks for tip in inappropriate way!!... More

The room is all you would expect from a mid-range business hotel anywhere in the world. Air-conditioned, Wi-Fi, good sized bed, well equipped bathroom and a lighting system that only requires a short time to work out. It is in the middle of Korea Town though, so the public areas are pleasingly different with oriental pots and ornaments scattered around... More

Very disappointed so far! Only thing "Grand" is the picture of the front for the website! Very old out dated and not that clean. Way over priced for the quality. A/C very noisy and location is not a great location for downtown business.

We were fooled my the beautiful pictures of the hotel on the outside and lobby. Those were beautiful. But as soon as we got to the room we could not stay one more night!!! One of the worst experience at a hotel we had ever went thru. Do not, and I mean do not waste your time coming here. The... More

If your looking for a no frills hotel in a good convenient location, then this is it. The rooms are old, but clean. The female check in clerk was very nice. I wish they had microwaves in the rooms since there are refrigerators, and it would be nice to hear up food. The restaurants down stairs seem overpriced, but I... More

This is a Korean owned and operated hotel in Korea town. However, there was a mixture of guests and everyone spoke English. The lobby is shiney and very pretty. The hotel has Korean and Japanese restaurants. The rooms are clean, efficient and comfortable. The beds are excellent. The room had a refrigerator which was very helpful and appreciated. I travel... “This is going to be a place where you're in-and-out, so worrying about a "good room" is somewhat pointless. All the rooms in the hotel appeared to be practically the same. What you're paying for is location relative to the wiltern.”
