When we got to the hotel front desk, my friend and I were expecting the usual long checkin process that we dread. But with Andrew at front desk we had the most pleasant and efficient checkin/customer service experience possible. Really welcomed us and just met all our needs in a professional manner. This hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and friendly. Staff are great and the fact that there was security was a positive as the area all around the hotel is seedy and like a 3d world. It was reasonably priced and i would stay there again.
I booked with them for almost 500 USD with booking.com Due to COVID, I asked them if it was possible to cancel this reservation with no fees... they accepted. So far so good... But unfortunately I have never received the refund and they refused to answer to my email (since several months). Worst, they charge my credit card a second time (2x500 USD) without my consentment and with no reason. And same behaviour -> they don't to answer to my emails (neither to the emails sent directly by booking.com). So instead of having 0 USD to paid (for an initial reservation egal to 500 USD), I'm currently charged with 1000 USD This hotel is a big scam and they thief their customers -> Stay away at all costs. I will adjusted my review if they refund (or at least answer) me.
While the hotel it's self was fine; the horrible attitude of Leo the front desk clerk makes me reconsider ever staying at this hotel again; I was rudely told "You were a no-show !" this was not the case.. I explained about Booking.com moving my arrival date to February due to a death in the family .Leo then tells me I need to contact Booking.com to straighten it out.. When Leo spoke to Booking.com he was incredibly rude to them saying " You need to learn how to do your job.. you don't know how to do your job !" Not the impression you want at a higher priced hotel chain .Perhaps Leo would benefit from re-training or closer supervision
