Sheraton’s lounge is something you don’t want to miss. The staff like Devollie, Sulmy, Sandra are very friendly and helped to keep the lounge clean and filled with food and drinks. The location of the hotel is very convenient to Universal Studio. You can either take the free shuttle or walk directly in less than 10 min.

Had complimentary breakfast at the Club Lounge and Albino was a very friendly and helpful staff member. He made sure we had everything we needed to kick start our day. Make sure you opt for Club Lounge access because they have a wide variety of healthy food and snacks.

The staff and service here are the best I've had. Their attention to guests needs are above and beyond. You can really see that they are dedicated to service, their jobs, and the prosperity of the hotel property. Many of the staff we have met are very friendly and they have been working here consistntly for years. Maria, Devollie, and Albino, who run the Club Lounge were extremely helpful, friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. They got to know our family during our stay and greeted us as friends each morning. The hotel location is beyond convenient to Universal Studios and we were able to walk back, downhill, at the end of the night.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sheraton Universal even with workers on strike. Linda, Maria, and Angie were amazing and took care of our every need in the Club Lounge. Request a high room with view of Universal. Bring patients when using the elevators.

I Absolutely loved this property . The staff at this hotel were knowledgeable and hospitable throughout my stay. The rooms are small and seem efficient for only one but still provided a cozy experience. The club lounge provided a full buffet ! Something I had never seen in a Marriott. Devolie Linda , and albino , were very kind and treated us as if they had known us for a long time . Overall, I enjoyed this property and will certainly visit again

This was a great spot for a family traveling to Universal, property was very clean and updated, and staff was excellent…especially Maria, Albino, and Angie in the lounge! Self parking was easy and pool was great after a day in the park.

Medford, Oregon, United States3 contributions
My son and I made the long trip from Oregon to Universal and chose this hotel to others in the area. The pool, proximity to Universal and other amenities made it my choice. It was not the cheapest by any means. Until Tuesday August 1 at 630 am. This was an hour and a half before my alarm was set, on the day after spending 14 hours walking Universal Studios and the day I was driving 10.5 hours back to Oregon. Sleep would have been nice. The “striking” union members decided to wake us and anyone else in the hotel up that they could with the use of drums, horns, a microphone and yelling. For an hour. From 630-730 am. Right outside our window. I was appalled that the manager allowed this type of behavior on their premises. This was not “striking” or picketing. This was disorderly conduct. This was 100% disturbing the peace and not a public protest. This was very private and they should have been asked to leave the property and peacefully protest from the sidewalk. Needless to say we lost out on sleep. I want everyone to have equal rights and equal pay and benefits, but this was not an employee protesting it’s employer, this was employees vs. the paying customers who have nothing to do with your union mishaps. The icing on the cake was when I checked out at 745 (15 minutes before my alarm was set to even wake us up) and the woman checking me out had the audacity to ask me how my stay was. I told her it had been fine up and until 630 that morning. Her reply, verbatim, was “We were trying to wake you up. Sorry about that” all while smiling and giggling. Like it was a joke or something. I was sleep deprived, tired and about to drive all day. I had so much to say to her but obviously she did not care about my stay or the customers she was being paid to assist. Even if it isn’t at the wage she wanted. If I had done what they were doing, the police would be called and I would have been escorted off. Won’t be back. I expect more for the amount of money we spent.

The executive club lounge definitely exceeded our expectations. Maria, Angie, and Linda went the extra mile to provide a home away from home culinary experience and relaxation in the lounge. The cleanliness, the calm and welcoming environment, and the fresh food truly makes us want to extend our stay! Thank you ladies, I hope to see you here the next time we're in town! Maria, should be promoted by the way. Her professionalism and the manner in which she articulates when interacting with guests, is exceedingly impressive!
