As the title of this review indicates, my time at the Ellison Suites has been the most joyful experience I could dream of in Venice. From the beginning, the location blew my mind. Then the service and the way we were welcomed. Finally, the stay. The taste in decoration as well as the layout made me want to stay much longer than planned. But more surprises were coming my way! After a long hike the last thing I wanted to do was find a liquor store in order to watch the sunset with a drink in my hand. Ash and Angie were so accommodating that they handed me four beers, and let me tell you, it made the sunset brighter this day, sitting comfortably on the rooftop overlooking the ocean. By the way, parking might be a struggle but a quick ride on the bicycle leads you to many convenience stores, without mentioning the fact that you are right next to the beautiful and famous Venice boardwalk. Also, shootout to Manny who was always available and helpful for our whole stay. Oh and I almost forgot to mention. Free breakfast in the morning in their beautiful open space area in the heart of the red building? Yes please! I definitely will be back! Thank you for this amazing experience, The Ellison Suites

The staff were very helpful and the hotel is unique in style, with an interesting history and individual designs for each apartment. The staff were also kind and generous. The breakfast and coffee could be improved (it was included), with less sugary options on offer would be ideal, especially for children.

A secluded , quiet little street, literally half a block from the beach. Ana and Angelica are lovely, very helpful and accommodating hostesses. I would recommend this place to anyone who would not feel comfortable at the Holiday Inn. It is charming, a bit funky, but very clean and upgraded to make your stay extremely satisfying.

We enjoyed our time at The Ellison! I love that the room had a kitchen too. Devin (General Manager) was so welcoming and kind. He's doing a great job managing The Ellison and I look forward to going again. Thank you Devin!

We were put in contact with Ellison Suites by Home Away, and we were so happy with it. We were welcomed by Manny at the front desk, after a very difficult day of travel arrangements, he was a delight. When we went to our room and realized it was close to construction, he quickly moved us to a better suited room. All the staff was amazing and very accommodating. The General Manager, ugh I can't remember his name now, was so kind to even accept our grocery delivery when my Daughter's surgery went longer than expected. The King size bed was very comfortable with a great view of the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The closet was nice and big, although, if you are under 5'7 you may have a problem reaching to hang up clothes. The trundel bed was also comfortable. The only con I could see was that there are stairs up to the bathroom and a very low clearence. I felt the property was very safe. Please do remember it is an older building with alot of charm, so you may have a small leak during a thunderstorm, but nothing the staff is not happy to help you with. It is steps away from the beach and boardwalk, so no matter which way you walk you have entertainment along the way!
