I have stayed here fairly regularly for work. While it is not a 5-star hotel it is comfortable, clean and walking distance to Westwood Village. It also provides suites with separate bedrooms at an affordable rate.

The Royal Palace is good value at US$180 p/n. Cheap for Westwood. The entrance is very drab and dingy and the breakfast room tiny but don't be deceived, the rooms themselves are very spacious, have a balcony, great TV a fridge and everything else that you might need. The location is very close to UCLA and countless restaurants.

For our 2 week family vacation to LA, Big Sur and San Francisco, I did a LOT of research. LA is very pricey and we wanted a decent place but were willing to sacrifice a bit to have more money for the fun stuff. The Royal Palace caught my eye. The room prices were cheaper than many chain hotels, and...

This hotel gives you the best value for your money. Our room was big and clean. Also, the staff is fantastic and willing to help with anything. Parking is the only challenge, but the staff helped and made it much easier. It is located near many stores and restaurants, and is also in a very safe area. Would recommend this...

The staff were awesome. Helpful, courteous and considerate. Parking can be a challenge but the staff made it easy. Comfortable spacious room with great TV and many interesting channels. Located on a quiet street just around the corner from many restaurants and shops.

Things we were not so keen on: -Very noisy air-conditioning units on...

We stayed just one night, but the suite was clean, large & nicely refurbished. The only tough part was that, as an older building, we had a lot of trouble getting our stroller into the tiny elevator. At any rate, it was within walking distance to UCLA campus and Westwood Village. Great coffee shop & a Target store just 4...

Had a 2 night stay and found this to be a very comfortable hotel with continental breakfast included. Breakfast room was quite small and did get crowded but the choice was reasonable. (You can take your breakfast to your room if you wish) Our room had a small private Balcony with a couple of plastic chairs should we want to...

The Royal Palace Hotel has it all. Conveniently located in a central 'hub' for most things LA. The value for money is very good. Clean, quiet rooms and the included breakfast is fresh, tasty and has great variety. There is even a terrific Garlo's Aussie Pie shop 100 metres away in Glendon Avenue, so we felt right at home! Highly...

Stayed here for a week as part of a package deal. Nothing great to look at from outside, lobby is quite small, but free parking is available, although it can be tight. Room was excellent. A good bed, decent sized bathroom, all spotlessly clean. My room also had a patio. WiFi worked efficiently throughout. I'd recommend this hotel for all...
