Very Beautiful room and view but I had a terrible experience with the guy downstairs named CHRIS he was very rude to me when just asking him is there anything wrong with the elevators he was very snappy no respect at all he even followed me out side when I left at 5am being very creepy ! I want to talk to management please this happened at 2am ! I came in regular clothing than I left with complete work clothes on don’t no if he thought I was a bum or what but he was rude as hell
It was my first time at this property. Great location, great views at the marina, great service. The staff is really well trained. Shout out to Maria the General Manager who has done a great job keeping this older property top notch. Elizabeth and the other Front Desk agents were very helpful, polite and informative. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. I cannot wait to come back again with my family.
Was ok.. not the greatest, not the worst Double Tree property out there. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Got a room facing the marina. The view to the marina was cool, especially seeing the boats sail off... some boats were decorated with Christmas lights. Room was a bit on the dated side.. a few things chipped and a few things needed a repair or two. With that said, bed was comfortable. Pillows were so soft, you sank when you lay after a long day. Only one elevator in the entire property, room was far from elevator. A second elevator would be ideal, but not the end of the world. Restaurant was closed. So i cant comment on that. No standard fridge/microwave. You have to call the front desk and request them. Over all. Great stay.
The best thing about this hotel was the free parking. I’m a gold member and mentioned it was a special occasion in our reservation comments. I was hoping for at least a room with a view but received no upgrade, no mention of the note, no recognition for being a member, nada. I also had to come back to the desk to pick up my 2 waters. The doubletree branded outlets by the bed did not work so we plugged in our phones in the bathroom. And there was hardly anything stocked in the shop next to the desk. Except for plastic face shields.....nice. Trust me when I say you can find way better for much cheaper.
I stayed here in Nov 2019 for two nights prior to a cruise holiday. The hotel is clean and well-situated with the cruise terminal a short complimentary shuttle bus ride away. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating. A special mention to Cheyenne who drives the hotel shuttle bus. On hearing that i had forgotten to pack some personal toiletries, Cheyenne drove me to the closest drug store in her own time. This is exceptional customer service and deserves my appreciation. The bedrooms are large and clean and provide coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast is served in the coffee shop to the left of reception. It is a self service buffet but with a coffee and tea table service. One day i walked along the water front and enjoyed a very fresh fish lunch at a local fish restaurant. I cannot remember the name of the restaurant but feel sure the reception team would recommend it. I would recommend this hotel highly, especially for anyone to stay and relax prior to embarking on a cruise holiday. Thank you…
