Older motel, needs some upgrades, rooms were dingy and beds could use some new mattresses. Service was poor and amount of room was high compared to quality of establishment. There was a lot of noise around the building durning the night, not sure if neighborhood was really safe. Lots of noise in the hallways early in the morning as well.

Hotel is in a good location if you are taking a cruise out of the World Cruise Center. The hotel is outdated, clean, but has that smell like something is being covered up. The shower would not work unless you put the water on high and pulled the lever up as hard as you could. The "free" breakfast was marginal...

This is a hotel we have stayed at before. Getting older but is clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was fair to good but for the price one cannot complain. The location is great, walking distance to the shopping area, Port of Call and the Cruise Ship Terminal. The front desk staff (2 guys) were horrible. They were...

I booked this hotel because the hotel where my conference was did not have any rooms left. The location was terrific, but that's the good news. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and was in serious need of updating. The door was warped and the deadbolt would not work. There was no iron in the room and when I requested...

First the pros: Accross the street from the USS Iowa, the Maritime Museum, and countless eateries along the the waterfront. Cheap. The cons: The hallways offered up different shades of juicy fruit 8mustiness. The hall carpets were foul. Our room had numerous holes in the walls and a distinct odor of tropical fruit gone bad. The towels were undoubtedly new...

Dirty, the room smelled terrible like mildew and had roaches The fire doors for the stairways were all blocked open instead of being closed as they should have been. As a retired FDNY firefighter, I can say that people would have been in serious trouble escaping the building due to this dangerous situation One elevator was out of service when...

I am surprised at the poor ratings. I found this hotel on-line, called to make a reservation and was served efficiently and professionally. Upon check-in, the desk person was friendly and gave me a recommendation to a nearby Mexican restaurant (Green Onion) which was exactly what I was looking for. The room was clean, the temperature was just right, the...

HORRIBLE is an understatement. 1st the guy at the desk is beyond rude. He literally threw they room keys on the Comintern and they slid off and onto the floor, all he did was laugh. Then I asked where my room was, he responded by saying "map on table". Entire place is DIRTY, falling apart and outdated. Walked into the...

Based on reviews had low expectations. Room was nice and large. Hallways are dated and need work. Was not noisy . Van to port on time. Several places to eat in walking distance. Battleship Iowa very close. Not the Ritz but was just fine for 1-2 nights
