Overall, our 2-night stay at Mikado was very good. The room was clean, the queen-size bed was comfortable, and all other listed amenities were available (free wi-fi, frdige with separate freezer compartment, coffee maker, 2 luggage racks, clean towels, etc.) The hotel also gave us a 10% coupon at their adjacent Japanese restaurant (also named Mikado) and we ate there...

Stayed here after a wedding and for Shabbos. Reasonable, longish walk to everywhere we needed to be. Room was nice size and includes small fridge that has a freezer. Seems that the property was renovated not too long ago. All in all looked clean and neat. Relatively quiet.

I chose this hotel due to the convenient location, and the more reasonable price than other hotels. Check-in was efficient and friendly, our room was clean, and I liked that we could park right outside our room on the second level. Although I wish we would have been told that BEFORE we dragged our suitcases up a flight of stairs!...

We stayed here for 3 days and chose this hotel because of its location and price. The hotel is about 8 minutes from Universal Studios, 10 minutes from Hollywood Blvd ans is the center of everything you would want and 1 minute from highway 101. We arrived 3 hours prior to check in time and were thankful that they had...

You can tell this hotel used to be beautiful and has potential to be again but the rooms need an update and need to be cleaner especially the bathroom area. The floors and corners were not clean and tub was discoloured. The vanity needs a more professional look. Breakfast was just okay.

The location is good, but the rooms are very old looking, furniture needs to be updated, bathrooms are tiny, and old free breakfast is nothing to write home about, and didn't appreciate tip jar in free breakfast area.

Not far from Universal studios, WB studios, Hollywood blvd.... The room is good. The reception is friendly. The pool is good. The only problem is the sound proofing is poor and can hear the upstairs occupant very clearly and can be annoying at night when you try to sleep at night the those upstairs is very busy. Also the b/fast...

Typical Best Western Hotel, clean but mediocre size and supplies. "Free" hot breakfast was the worse that I have ever seen--there was nothing healthy except for a bowel of apples that it looked like might have been an after thought. Location was good for our needs, we were attending a Wedding in Hollywood but would not stay there again. Was...

Exiting the hotel onto Riverside Drive is hazardous because you can't see eastbound traffic due to parked cars. Lobby and pool are nicely kept, although we did not use the pool. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant is comparable to other 3 star motel chains and was included in the price of our room. The room was close to hwy. 101...
