Terrible service with the manager and in breakfast area. I waked up at 09:30 am and going to the breakfast area. When I arrived the attendant told me that I need to wait 1 hour and half to seat. I saw there have a lot of tables available to use, I question the attendant again and she didn’t say anything and go. After I go to the lobby and talk with the attendant there and told her that I would like to talk with the manager, but he didn’t talk with me, although he was in the lobby (the manage i don’t know the name, have a Japanese face). Terrible service with the manager. If I need to wait 1hour and a half I don’t take breakfast, I have lunch. I really know that the Marriot have best services and today it’s terrible

Stayed here for 4 night at the end of our American holiday. Highly recommend the hotel. Looks great from the outside, really relaxing on the inside. Friendly staff. Large rooms with stunning views over LA. There's a pool, outdoor area, bar, restaurant, gift/essentials shop inside. Great visit

As a kid of the 80s, I remember this hotel from a number of movies of the era. It's been nicely renovated and has the Westin brand standards in the room. Getting to it was a bit difficult as the entrance was on a different level than I expected. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, typical downtown LA. The coffee shop got really busy in the morning! Good place to stay.

BEWARE... My Family and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel. My son slept in a roll away bed, All seemed to be well, however, upon arriving home my son starting itching and noticed multiple bug bites on his leg and ankles and feet. I called the hotel, reported a bed bug incident and claim was filed including photos of the bites with the hotel insurance company. We spent the next few days disinfecting our home, bedding and suitcases. A few days later the hotel security manager informed me that they had an inspector and sniffing dogs come and inspect the room and "all the roll away beds" and their findings were "negative". I am highly skeptical as the bites stopped when we arrived home! It has been 3 business days since this phone call, I contacted the insurance company who informed that they have yet not received the reports from inspector and will contact me with their findings. With all this being said there has been NO CONTACT from hotel management. I understand not hotel is risk free, but there seems to be no regard for customer concerns/experience. I waited to post a review to allow hotel management to contact me but have heard nothing.

Stayed here to go to to a Dodger's game. The location for that was great. We took a cab to the game. Uber has to park a long ways from the stadium. The location for the game was great plus inside parking. Hotel was nice and clen and room was fine nice view of downtown.

Beautiful architecture, but the lighting is so dark and gloomy that it casts a shadow, both literally and figuratively, on the dynamism of the structure. The result is an oppressive, dim airlessness. As is, I wanted escape. Lighting desperately needs a redesign.

A lovely air conditioned room. Very pretty reception area. Lovely views from the higher rooms! It’s like a maze trying to find the food to eat! We were able to walk to the hotel from their tube line from the airport and it was about 10 mins walk. We did it with 20kg suitcase in 35 Celsius heat, so if we can, you can! Haha The food at the sports bar was lovely and the staff were so lovely and helpful. It was cool as you could walk outside their back door straight onto the pool area! The pool was very welcomed in the summer heat, as there was a heatwave!

Nice hotel in downtown LA. But if the front desk sraffs could be more friendly would made my experienced complete. There is no geeeting Welcome and Enjoy your stay. The store luggage facility is convinient for frequent traveller in multi cities. The check in process is top notch, less than 5 minutes. The lift journey is amazing, you can see outside view and they put colour for each lift to bring to your room. However last time I stayed I smell bad odor i the lift (fishy) and could make a lot difference if the hotel management as part of Westin could pay attention to improve the hotel fragrance like mostly 4 -5 * hotel in Asia. Good fragrance im the hotel lobby, lift, aisle of the hotel will make unforgettable guest experience.

Awesome hotel in downtown LA. The rooms are good, but not exceptional. Breakfast is served buffet style, but the choices are limited. The staff is usually friendly, however I encountered a rude member at the front desk when asking for late checkout. The motto of Marriott “It pays to book direct” was not felt at all especially at this situation. Moreover, I’m a silver elite with Marriott and despite that fact I was not given my chosen late check-out time which was 2 pm, so not a very late time. Also, I received a room on a lower floor, which also does not confirm that “it pays to book direct”. Anyways, it was a decent experience.

Water outage occurred when we were staying in. No notice was given until checking in. The hotel was gracious enough to provide a grand total of 2 porta potties for all the guests. The staff was uncourteous to put it lightly (understandably due to all the complaints).
